I thought I was the only one!!!
I am 16 weeks pregnant and I am worried almost all the time. My pregnancy seems to be normal and fine but I still worry anyways.
Sometimes I feel bad not to be relaxed or not to trust 100% in God that everything will be fine...but believe me, its very difficult for me not to worry. I tried but it only last few moments when I start worring again....But now after reading all your comments, I feel a bit released that my thoughts are quite normal.
Thanks.

I am pregnant with my third child, and it is still the same. I thought when I got pregnant with my second, 'Oh, it will better with this one.' But it wasn't. And now with this one, the month between doctors appointments are torture.
It is natural. And once they are born you worry still, while they are sleeping I still (at 4 and 1 1/2) worry that they will quit breathing. You worry that they will run to fast and fall. You worry about everything.
So get use to it, cause it will last the rest of your life. How are they doing in school, is that the right person for them, is that the right college. It part of being a parent, mother or father. But the worry is worth the reward. Nothing can beat the feeling of one of your babies walking up to you and out of no where telling you that they love you!!
I am going to watch this question too, because I'd like to know how not to worry!!!LOL

I have two kids and I always worried about the possibility of losing them even when the doctor said everything was fine. Its normal to worry about your baby, that is what being a mother is all about! Just try and focus on the positive aspects of being pregnant and enjoy every moment it truly is a precious and exciting experience.

Life is not something that we can control. It is a mother's way, to worry. It goes from worrying that our baby won't be ok, to worrying about our children when they begin to crawl, walk, go to school, to college. We worry. Because we love our children. Want them to be perfect, happy, healthy, safe. If we didn't have fears, we wouldn't care what happened to them - and then we wouldn't be mothers at all. It's our jobs to protect our children, because we have no idea what the future holds.
I worry that my unborn twins won't be ok, that's why I see my OB on a regular basis & do what I can to keep them healthy. I worry that my kids will get hit by a car, so they wear helmets when they ride their bikes. I worry that I'll get into a car accident myself, so I always do my best to drive safely. I worry that my kids may start smoking or worse, so I talk to them about why they shouldn't. I worry that they will have bad teeth or bad health, so they see a dentist & a pediatrician on a regular basis, and have their shots when they're supposed to. I worry that they'll catch a cold, so they wear jackets on cold days. Etc, etc.
Basically, we do what we can - and call it life.

I think that's only natural. It's so scary to be growing a whole little human in there, especially when you can't see it or watch it.
If you don't have it yet, get the book "What to Expect While You're Expecting." It's awesome, and takes you through your pregnancy month by month. It helps you deal with some of the emotional ups and downs as well.
Good luck!
