I asked a question yesterday about a pregnancy test with a very faint positive line. I took 2 more today.?

and they're showing negative. What do you think? Should I just leave it alone and expect my period tomorrow? I'm bumed out:(

Honey - it's best to wait a few days after you miss your period. Sometimes there is not enough hormone to detect in the early days.

For me, a very faint line proved to be positive with both of my pregnancies. Since you got other negative results though, those tests just might not have picked up the HCG hormone this early. I'd test again tomorrow, and then the next day if you don't get your period, and use one of the more sensitive tests like the First Response that detects the hormone sooner and at lower levels. It is very possible for periods to be late and otherwise irregular. However, it also very possible for test results to be wrong or improperly taken. Given the circumstances that you've tested yourself a total of 3 times and none have tested positive conclusively I'd say you're most likely not pregnant. Give this a week and if you still don't have your period see a doctor. There are many things that could be the cause of irregular or stopped menstrual cycles ,pregnancy being just one.
Other things to consider in the realm of your cycle is considering the possibility of diet.
Changing your diet ,more specifically eating less, can cause your period to be late. It sometimes requires that you give your body proper nourishment in order to start your cycle. Also certain sicknesses can cause a late cycle. Age is another variable which should be considered. How old are you? If you are still very young ,as in younger than 20, your cycle may not have been properly established and could still be in the process of becoming regular. If you are getting older as in anywhere after 40 you could be experiencing menopause. This is usually much more easily diagnosed. In this case you should be feeling hot flashes, mood swings, and sometimes awkward eating and sleeping habits.

I didn't see your post yesterday but from what you said I would wait a few more days and test again. With my now 5 year old the line was super faint but I did end up being pregnant. Good luck!

Wait a few days and then test again with first morning urine. Some tests are more sensitive than others and will show a positive before others do. I recommend using First Response. Lots of luck!

As hard as it is, you could just wait it out. If your period still doen't show up, then take another in about a week. It could be too early to detect the HCG. You could go and be tested at a clinic. The pregnancy test I took with my youngest was like that......just a very faint line. I went to the Health Dept and they tested me and I was pregnant.......just "barely" LOL (as the nurse said). It could just still be too early for the OTC one's to tell. Good luck!!!!

Wait it out a few days and see if your period starts. If not try another test. The lines on my pregnancy test were so faint that I gave up wondering and bought a digital test. You might try one of those.

It does not matter how dark or light the lines on the test are, you might want to go to your doctor if you do not star your period in about 7-10 days.

Was it the same brand test? Just wait it out for a couple of more days and if you dont get your period, try again.

If your absoulty dying to get pregnant then go ahead and keep trying if not leave it alone.. If you been havin sex like crazy your period can be pushed back a couple of days.
