Pregnancy & Parenting - 20 October 2006

I been trying to get pregnant for the past 2 months but I keep getting negative test. I have been getting my periods, just that they been lasting less days than usual. I am getting morning sickeness, feel bloated, cravings all that stuff. Im taking medication for allergies, and Im wondering if that would affect the results...Im going to a dr appt next week, but Im curious to know if Im pregnant? Should I stop the medications?

I've been nausean about an hour after i wake up everyday and again at night. The headaches are intense and last a long time. The fatigue is not that bad, but comes mostly in the afternoon. My last period was induced my a dose of Provera, and I had heard that once you take the Provera it makes you really fertile. Now I think I may be pregnant.

Ok, in a couple of weeks, I"m having my Sweet 16 party. I am having it at a park, and I need some ideas for games. No kissing games or anything like that, but some fun games to play with a group of 50-60 people. Can you help? Oh yeah, it's a co-ed party. And also, I'm having about 10 girls to spend the night, and if you know any good games for a sleepover, I could use some of those, too.

My sister has a rule that all toys must be kept in the bedrooms and no matter what we do we cannot get my 3 year old niece to play in her room. She keeps saying she is scared of the cow in there. Ok there is no cow and when you tell her that then she changes her story and comes up with something else that she is scared of. She will go in her room by herself to get things or change clothes and doesn't have any problems taking naps or going to bed in her room. Why would she be afraid to play in there if nothing else about it seems to bother her. We've tried going in and playing with her and even that will only last for a few minutes. She has lots of toys that she loves to play with-just not in her room. Occasionally when the weather in nice she can select a few toys to take outside and play with and she gets to take some of her favorites when she goes to grandma's house so it's not that she doesn't like her toys she just won't play in her room. Any suggestions why?

My daughter will celebrate her first birthday on Thanksgiving day this year. Her cousin was born 4 years ago, on Thanksgiving that year... we arent close with that cousin or her parents, but my mother-in-law has said many times how 'great it will be that they will be able to share their birthday together every year'.

Should we be forced to share birthdays? I understand that it's great that family will be together and it logistically makes sense, but I think that birthday celebrations are special and shouldnt be shared.

Any ideas or suggestions are most appreciated! : ) Thanks!

we have a family friend that just turned 18 years old and was kicked out of her home, her father and family have disowned her completly, so they are out of the question in even talking to about this.. I HAVE tried.

I talked with her and she has her child 2 weeks old sleeping in the bed with her all night.. I have explained the dangers of this to her, and she has admited that he has rolled over more than once but she is next to him and can feel when he moves. I am so scared for the baby and suffocating in the pillows. I have talked with her and she said the baby cries if in the bassinet.

I have raised 3 kids and I know that a two week old cries if they are hungry, wet or in pain.. i am guessing the baby has gas due to the type of formula and that is why he isnt sleeping well, regardless of the problem sleeping in her bed is a danger, she doesnt understand she is barley 18 and has not much of an education.
what can i do to get though to her, I am scared for the baby.

The guy has the option of running to the hills. The woman carries the baby, goes through labour, picks up most (in some cases all) of the finances, the doctors appoinments and groceries and shopping...

So why does the woman have to be strong, while everyone else freaks out? Who supports the woman?

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant now for a while. I am very regular on my periods and I know when I ovulate. I am 20 yrs old. I am 5 days late for my period. On the first day I took a pregancy test and it was a very pale/light positive sign. I waited a few days later and I took another one and it was negative. I have never been late before. This may sound gross but my vaginal secretions are really heavy. I did have a few little cramps a few days ago but they are now gone. My breasts are really sore and every once in a while I feel a little nautious. Any ways could I still be pregnant? Please help, thank you!!!

ill never do it. i mean if the female has more rights then the male then let her pay for the damn thing. aint no way in hell im giving up a damn cent for something i dont have equal rights over. best intrest of the child is a piss poor excuse she can get her food stamps or whatever if i dont have equal rights why why why should i pay anything! and why get married when she can divorce me and take over half of my damn fortune? what sense does that make ? I had a miscarriage in Sept of last year, on my own with no complications. I got pregnant right away but then lost that one in Jan. The doc said that one was stuck behind my cervix and I needed a D&C. Major problems. I had my period every other week for 2mos then quit totally. They forced a period with Provera in June but then quit totally again. We forced another one at the end of Sept and took Chlomid day 5-9. They had done blood tests and an ultrasound and said that my uterus looked normal so we have no clue what is going on with me. I'm not due until Mon but took an early test which was negative. I'm so depressed right now and don't know what to think. I'm only 34 and that is too early for menopause so does anyone know what is happening to me? I also have Factor V Leiden but have had a son. I'm so sad. Please help?
