Why not? is not as if she is married to the guy so, there is no commitment yet and it is the girls descision to make as to leave the guy who treats her like trash and cling up to the one who might treat her like a queen. No one wants to die in silence, Please ask her out you are on track!

I say that is not the best idea. First off let's talk about your safety...It won't be there if you ask her out and they are still dating. Two she might get hurt if he beats her up. Now to the part where I say, does she want to get out of the relationship? Because if she did, she would have done it already, no need for your help superman. Second, you are putting yourself out there as a "stealing another guy's girlfriend" sort of person and that doesn't go well in the aspect of other guys not liking you perhaps? Also, does she like you? IF she does, she doesn't like you enough to break up with her current boyfriend. So...how can you get her? Well by being her friend first then gradually showing her the little things that her boyfriend does to hurt her. Slowly point out the obvious things and finally tell her what this guy is doing and that she deserves better...I say don't get beat up and good luck...

I slightly disagree with the other people here. I wouldn't get as close as a friend at this point for several reasons. You don't want to be accused of being a relationship snatcher, or preying on someone who's vulnerable. You don't want to get this guy mad at you, even if you could win in a fight with him (cause you'd probably still look bad to the girl). You don't want to fall into the "You're my best friend/just like one of the girls" category. Be nice to her enough to catch her attention, but keep enough distance where there is a little mystery. Make yourself known to her, but don't flaunt yourself. If you do see him mistreat her in front of you and others, shame him for it...if he hits you, take the hit, get up and apologize to her for the scene, and walk away in a dignified manner...Geh heh heh heh, she won't be able to resist you, trust me.

No. You can befriend her and try to get her to see how bas she is being treated. If/when she decides to dump this guy be there for her to help her, and then see where it goes. Trying to ask her out while she is dating someone else will cause all kinds of problems. If the guy is a real jerk he may try to hurt her if he finds out.

I would say no because she has a boyfriend. It is not a good idea to go out with someone who is already going out with somebody else.

Sure, why not? Maybe she's only with him because she thinks nobody else is interested.
