The guy has the option of running to the hills. The woman carries the baby, goes through labour, picks up most (in some cases all) of the finances, the doctors appoinments and groceries and shopping...
So why does the woman have to be strong, while everyone else freaks out? Who supports the woman?

You only have one father and he is up above. They say women are the weaker sex but it's only in physical strength only and some of us have to try to be strong in that too. But, truly the woman is the stronger sex. We give life, go through pregnancy, labor, delivery and are responsible until we die. But, we are also the lucky ones. If the man walks out he misses out on all the good stuff too. I feel sorry for the daddy of my girls. They are the best thing that ever happened to me and he has missed so much. Yes, it was hard when they were young but I met a man that helped me and I said God made up for all those bad ones with this great one. So, the reason is we are stronger, he knows we will take care of them and they will have a better life with mommy , most the time, not all. And he loves us a lot! Good luck to you and I wish some happy, fun, prosperous times for you to come right now. By the way, the ones that say use a condom or birth control. They fail at least 5-7% of the time. You must use two kinds of birth control to be extra cautious!!

Btw... women have the same option of running to the hills. Its called an abortion.
However to answer your question... It isn't just a guy thing. Not everyone can handle responsibility.

I really don't know the answer to your question. I have had friends who unexpectedly got pregnant and their men have run to the hills. After talking to them I still don't understand why some men are like that. I thank God everyday that when I unexpectedly got pregnant my man has stuck by my side. yeah he's scared but so am I. The important thing is that a REAL man will be there and love and take responsibility for that child that he helped create.

easy. men don't want to have to pay, nor do they want that sort of responsibility when they aren't ready for it. they think of the financial aspect, where will we put the baby, the huge responsibility etc, the more practical side to raising a child, whereas the woman thinks more on the emotional side. generally, most men come to terms with the idea once the woman has decided she is going through with it, just as my husband did, and she is the light of his life!! he adores her! even if the guy does run to the hills, he still has to pay child support.

Very good point , it is in a mans nature to be cowards , We as women have to be strong , and that goes way back to our ansestors , I mean if you look at it women have been fighting to be equal to men you know to be able to vote , work a job etc. etc. but if you ask me men should be fighting to be equal to us ...hold down a job ( sometimes while pregnant) , tend to the kids , give birth , put up with thier crap , run a house hold , etc.etc. Men will never be equal to us , they just aint strong enough....So all you ladies out there raise your glasses and i say cheers to you cause we are the stuff...

Getting an abortion is not the answer to anything -- You wouldnt even have the option if the MAN didnt decide to put a condom on or to *** inside of her -- he is just as responsible as she is.
Its not they are aware of a baby being bad news -- And babies arent bad news, they are a blessing -- they run away becasue they dont want to suffer the consequenes of their actions.
Besides kids shouldnt be having sex, let alone having babies til they are ready to handle them
If a girl or even a woman gets pregnant, she does need support, shes gonna need a lot of it.

I know how you feel. The guy worries about him self and thinks in his head, "what are people going to say?" The woman has to be strong because they pretty much know what's coming, even though they've never been pregnant before. The guy just wants the pleasure, and expects that nothing will happen.

Men are just like children, they enjoy but do not think of the consequence. They could run away, or stay. However, female have to face the fact that they are carrying the baby. If female are wise enough to get pregnant by male who love her, she will get full required support. If she is not wise enough, she just has to be brave and face it, make her own decision!

get an abortion then. I'd run to the hills too, but im a chic, so i'm on birth control. because the guys are somehow more aware that a baby is bad news when they're too young to be parents. why cant girls see that way too?

Millions of we females support you!! we have supported and worked night and day for you to have the choice of abortion in a case like this. NO it is never easy, but can be by far the best for you and the child!!! There are many things much worse than death.... You have a choice. IS up to you.. JUST DO NOT WHINEeee if you don't use it.
