I had a miscarriage in Sept of last year, on my own with no complications. I got pregnant right away but then lost that one in Jan. The doc said that one was stuck behind my cervix and I needed a D&C. Major problems. I had my period every other week for 2mos then quit totally. They forced a period with Provera in June but then quit totally again. We forced another one at the end of Sept and took Chlomid day 5-9. They had done blood tests and an ultrasound and said that my uterus looked normal so we have no clue what is going on with me. I'm not due until Mon but took an early test which was negative. I'm so depressed right now and don't know what to think. I'm only 34 and that is too early for menopause so does anyone know what is happening to me? I also have Factor V Leiden but have had a son. I'm so sad. Please help?

I found out that the D&C that they did was not the normal scraping thing, it was suction like an abortion. I was distraught for a while after that like I had actually done that. Could the difference in how they did it create the problem?

Another possibility which I hesitate to mention due to your desire to have more children, is the possibility that they may have totally removed the lining of your uterus while doing the D & C. This lining is the one you build up and shed every month with your period, where the baby would implant. This could affect your fertility if this rare complication occured.

Is there any way you can stop all the drugs and hormones and just let your body heal on it's own?

If you live in the panhandle of FL, I'd tell you to call Frank at the Tortoise Clinic. He's a specialist in female reproduction as well as other things.

Try not to be sad - sometimes taking a break is the best thing to do. You are only 34 - there are years left to try.

Keep with the clomid for awhile, a friend of mine had to take that for several months before she finally got pregnant, but it did work. As for having a miscarriage that shouldn't prevent you from carrying a baby to term in the future, if you can get your cycle going again (most likely with the clomid, or something similar) things should work out. Best thing I can say is keep with the meds and the doctors appointments. Good luck, I wish the best for you.

This is going to sound crazy, but I have heard of about 20-30 women who couldn't get pregnant and then squirted in some egg white (organic) for lubrication and immediately got pregnant! It's kinda odd, I know, but it wouldn't hurt to try I suppose. I don't really know much about the other stuff. Hope this helps!

I'm so sorry about your losses. I had the very same problems at your age and they weren't resolved until I went to see a reproductive endocrinologist. Now have a beautiful daughter! Hang in there and don't give up!

Oh, I am so sorry for your losses.

It does seem odd that your periods are suddenly irregular after your D&C. I think it may be time for you to start seeing an RE (if you aren't already) to get to the root of why you're not ovulating.

I can't say that I know what is wrong with you, but I wanted you to know that my prayers are with you. Hang in there sweetie.
