Allergy medication wouldn't affect the results. I know that because I (and other moms I know) have been on allergy meds and it didn't affect the results of the preg. tests. Hormones can make you feel bloated and have cravings and all that. I would suggest when you go to your Dr. you ask him all the questions you have and ask for a pregnancy blood test so you won't have that question running through your mind and above all, keep trying. Good luck! Sending pregnancy vibes your way!!

When was the first day of your last period and how long does your cycle usually last? If you are trying to get pregnant, I would stop taking any medication... doctors don't always know what's best. Medications will not affect the results of your test. The test picks up a hormone that you produce only if you're pregnant and that's what gives you the positive result. You don't normally get cravings until the second trimester, but the other two symptoms could be pregnancy symptoms. You should get a BBT thermometer and chart your morning temps. That helped me get pregnant in a month. Works great! Hope this helps!

Yeah you should definately stop the medications. I had missed my period for two months and started having sickness, and I was heavily bloated...That lasted for about a week and then the symptoms went away and I started my period. If you are pregnant, I think the whole medication might be messing up your tests. Personally, I dont think you start having cravings until the fourth or fifth month because that is when the baby is fully formed and only gets bigger from that point on. I heard that people could make their mind so meditated on getting pregnant that it actually fools the body into having false symptoms. Im not trying to scare you with that..because I know what you feel and I wanted to be pregnant too. Just relax and dont get over-worked and then your body will function like it supposed to.
Good Luck!!! email me back if you want to continue a conversation and I will help you out any way I can.

In response to Heather you can and do get cravings with your pregnancies as soon as that little baby is in there. Everyone is different , some people never have a craving or sickness through the whole nine months.
But in answer to your question I would say you are most likely not pregnant but by all means have it checked out and also have a relaly good chat to your doctor. There is also the Billings method that you could look into, it can be used both ways, to get pregnant and to also not become pregnant. Look that up if you have no luck cos I wont go into any details here, you need to know you body. Good Luck!

I actually had the same problem as you. I kept not getting my period and the pregency tests kept coming out as me not being pregenent. I finally went to the doctor and she had me do a blood test. I still wasn't pregent. Finally, she gave me a pill to take and told me that my period should kick in about 7 days later. It did and from this day on my period cylce is never 28-30 days it is now 28-42. So I don't think it will hurt to have the doctor check, maybe it could be that your period cycle is off. Good luck.

If you are thinking about getting pregnant a lot, it is possible your symptoms are psychosomatic. That being said, it is also not uncommon to have spotting during pregnancy. The rate of miscarriage is also quite high, and it is estimated that 50% of all pregnancies end in miscarriage before they are even detected. Your best bet it to avoid obsessing about it and see your doctor. They will be able to best advise a course of action regarding your medications as well as nutrition and other things that can help you in your quest.

I don't think allergies medications will affect the pregnancy test results. How about testing it again with a morning urine?
