went to the doc. the other day and was told that I was soft, up close and thinning out, but no dilation yet. He said that I am ready to go all I need to do is dilate and get started. Well I have been walking and have been having sex and cleaning..lol. I have contractions everyday about 30 min apart and not that bad either. However, today I have felt like I have more discharge, no blood or anything bu it is wetting my underware and my walls to my vagina feel really sore and lots of pressure, also like there is a bowling ball down there. I am still having the contractions, nothing that bad but I cant hardly walk because its so sore down there. He is already in position and his head is already down there so I know that dilation is all thats left. Does this sound like I am dilating to you? Does it sound like it will be much longer? I have an appointment tomorrow but I was just wondering till then if anyone felt like this before they went into labor. Thanks for all your help!

My husband and I have just found out the news that I am pregnant - I am only 4 weeks along so it is very early. How long should I wait before telling my employer? We've decided to tell our parents this weekend but I don't think I should leave it too long before telling my employer because they might find out through someone else if word gets around... any thoughts?

I am 17 weeks pregnant with my first child...my baby's dad and I are not together and I am really upset...just like down in the dumps...anyway to make me feel better..I am starting to feel like I am going to have an anxiety attack...maybe any suggestions to help get my mind off of whatever seems to be bothering me lol..Its a combination of things...more than say 3 things bothering me...any suggestions?

I recently found out I was pregnant. I believe i may have had a miscarriage, I started heavy bleeding, and what looked like blood clots came out (it was very discusting) and it wasnt like having a period, but I did get what were like cramps and back pain, I also got a small fever and was throwing up, this all lasted for about 2 or three hours, that happened a couple days ago, everyone I have told says they think I had a miscarriage and thats what I think also, I have an appt to see my OBGYN but I was curious as to what they are going to do to see if I had a miscarriage, and if there is any chance that I didnt miscarry and I may just have some sort of conditon, and if so what condition would it be. This is my first time being pregnant and im very scared and will be heart broken if I miscarried please help! (I probably sound dumb because i dont know any of this but like i said this is my first time)

KO this is going to sound gross but my dog keep licking my babys face. She is 6 months old and absolutely loves it and giggles and laughs when he does it, and I know he's doing it to show affection and it's adorable - but YUCK.

Ive heard dog's mouths are cleaner then human's though.

any thoughts? and please dno't be a jerk and tell me to get rid of my dog cause that's just plain stupid :-).

I had a miscarriage a month and a half ago and now I am worried because I have not had my period yet... is there a possibility that I am pregnant again??. I should wait 2 or 3 months.... can this be dangerous?

Hay Girls I am a 24yr.old women with 4 kids all girls ages 7,4,3,2 they sometimes can be a hand full. Well my oldest is growing up and I know thats life but God its too fast, she just got her little women hair down there . Its not a bush but about 3 little hairs. I was thinking doing something special for her like have big girls day out just her and I. I was thinking I should wait until the big one what do you think? We have been talking about this sence she was about 5yrs.old. But its like this came from no where.I She is kinda of happy about it, then she started to cry last night thats when we found out about the hair.She thinks she cant play with her sisters no more or her toys(dolls). I told her this just mean she really have to be a big sister and she can still be a kid just a big kid. Do you think I am going about it the right way? My Mother was not ther for me when I was going through things like this,I learned on my own. Sorry so long

Okay, I graduated college in may and have been looking for a job since March with no good prospects. I have an interview tomorrow for a good job in my field. The catch is, I am 12 weeks pregnant. I am not showing, and have about 4-5 weeks or so before I do, based upon how big the baby is and my body size. The position is a 6 month contract to hire position, where I work for the staffing company for 6 months, and if the employer likes my performance, they hire me... I really want and need this job, the money is so much better than what I am making at the part time job i have now...but I fell bad about not telling them I am pregnant until after I am hired...but I'm worried if I tell them, they won't hire me....does anyone have experience with this, or any thoughts...

I found an awesome E-book on potty training in 3 days or less. The method is awesome and easy, yet something most of us probably wouldnt try. It totally did the trick with my 19 month old daughter and my friends 3 year old very difficult son, so I thought all you other moms out there deserve to see this. If you have tried everything and nothing has worked, this may be just what you need. Or if you are planning to train soon, take a look at this, it could really make your life easier. I'm not saying it will work for every kid, but I figure you guys could at least give it a shot. If there is a way to make something easier, us moms definetly deserve it. I have two children a boy who is 17 months and a girl who will soon be 3 my girl often dosent give any trouble but my son is to the point I dont know where to turn he is mean and bangs his head into our fireplace into the floor the wall he love to hurt himself it seems he headbuts me hits me CONSTANTLY crys trows his food rarely sleeps time out and spankings dont work for him I am to the point where I cry he is so mean to his sister also and its to the point I feel as if he runs our family PLEASE HELP ME we are young parents in our 20 s and dont always know the answers!

I really like this guy but we go to different schools and i don't have his # he knows who i am and thinks i'm hott too... The doctor said that's what I am but tonight I was having some pretty uncomfortable contractions. I have been walking 1 mile a day. I am 36 weeks. Does anyone know how much longer I have or can share past experiences?

I have a 5 yr. old son who is getting out of control. He is generally a good kid but does not listen to me at all. He is already getting in trouble in school and on the bus. He hits and punches kids when he's mad. He talks back to me and just most of the time flat out refuses to do as i say. I don't know what else to do. I've tried time outs, grounding, spanking, taking things away. His father is also not much of a father at all. Please give me some ideas!!!!

you conceive?

i stoped taking the pill in April my 1st period was april 22 - may 18
( 27 days) then may 19- june 17( 30 days) june 17-july 15 (28 days) july 16 - august 12 ( 28 days) august 13- sep 11( 30 days) then sep12 - today october 5 ( 24 days) TTC, how long will it take this will be the 6th month of trying.at day 6 of my cycle today.

Why do people insist of having an invitation that states where the mother and baby are registered. Then, they disreguard it and go buy what THEY want you to have. What is the point? My baby shower is Saturday and I dont think I have anything that is on it yet....concerned
