I was curious as to when anyone starting to develope strech marks in their pregnancy and if you were like 107 IBs pre pregnancy will you be less likely to develope strech marks? Because I was really tiny all my life and now I am 5months and I am still small people just really started to notice that I was pregnant. Also I use the palmers cocoa butter lotion for stretch marks does it really work?

Yes I was wondering can anybody tell me what the effects would be if you gave beer directly to a 7 month y/o newborn who was 2 months premature?

I'm not talking about the mother drinking and then breast feeding. I'm talking about the mother putting the can of beer to the infants mouth and letting the infant drink a couple swallows of beer.

I don't know what effects beer could have on a newborn at 7 months who was 2 months premature. I'm afraid that it could cause a lot of damage. Can anybody show me what the effects could/would be and give websites that talk about this.

A few times my daughter was lying there getting her diaper changed or lying on the couch. One minute she was smiling the next she spreads her arms wide with her fingers spread in the moro reflex,... it looked involuntary and she looked terrified. when her arms relaxed she started crying. it scared me, my boyfriend and my mother each time someone saw it. my pediatrician says this is normal for infants when they get scared,.... nothing triggers it, it just seems so scary for me too.
anyone ever experience this?

ok so i have been trying to get pregnant for the last 2 years since my mc and have had no luck...till maybe now.. i haven't had a full period since the week of june 3-7 and in july all i did was spot once in the morning for 2 days.; since then i haven't bled or anything... for me normal signs of pregnancy don't apply as i experience them when i'm about to start... however i have never been so hungry all the time like i am now and on top of that i can only get like 5 hours of sleep before i wake up wanting food. is this a possiblity? could i finally have my dream come true? if you don't have a serious answer then please don't respond

i cant go to a doctor because i dont have health coverage but the last job i had provided coverage and i had nothing wrong with me. i took one test in august and the other 2 in september. i think i could be preggers now but i need your opinions. and if you want to pay for the doctors visit then by all means say go to the doctor.thx

I want to have a baby with my hubby so bad,, I have two daughters already but they are 11 and 13, and by my 1st hubby,,

I want to build our family with my new hubby we have been married for 6 yrs. I have been to the doctor twice and both pee test said no. I never got a blood test. Everytime my period is due the next day i get pink and brown blood. It doesnt be alot and it lasts only 4 days. I never had this until i had unprotected sex, but the test keep saying no. If i am pregnant i will be 7 weeks. Whats wrong?

Do most parents let there teens drink coffee?

With the consumer focus on Starbucks, it seems like more and more teens are drinking coffee.

Besides the obvious - that caffeine isn't the best for you - are there any other issues with this? Could drinking coffee regularly lead to other addictions?

Well I am ready to have the baby now, and I think I will go into labor sometime tonight or within this week. However, I have become really scared. I am new to all of this and so I dont know what to expect. We were ready for a baby and ttc and I am excited for him to be here but it seems that now that everything is happening and I am about to go into labor I am getting really scared. Is this normal? I have tried to discipline my 2 year old daughter by slapping her hand or spanking a few times and she decided to hit me back. Yet, even after I wrote this, I recieved the following advice "First of all, you should never allow your child to hit you. that is definite cause for you to toss her over your lap and hit her butt." Now, could someone please explain to me how spanking (which is hitting) is going to teach a child not to hit?

My son is a disgrace.

He is sixteen years old.

He is a homosexual or claims to be.

He has premarital sex with men.

He is disrespectful of Jesus, our heavenly saviour.

My daughter turned18 and she is due in a week. She's young and not mature enough for a baby but we are all here to help her. The past several months have been just great - she has been pleasant and fun to be around. Her usual demeanor before pregnancy is a short fuse accompanied by a flippant retort. If you say something nice, she will tear you to shreds. But since she has been pregnant, she has been an ANGEL. I know she is uncomfortable and in some pain, tired, can't get comfortable, wants the baby out, etc. but she is absolutely hateful to me. I am her only parent and she has a sister that is 8 years older who is a great help. I know she has a lot of fears, we talk about it a lot. But I think if she had a gun she'd use it on me (note the sarcasm - sort of).

I should not take it personally and I need to get over it, but other people make a point of telling me how rude she is. If I'm nice, it makes her mad, if I'm more quiet, it makes her mad. I'm in a "Catch 22".

I'm six months pregnant with a little girl. My husband and I agreed that we wouldn't tell anyone the name we chose until the day she is born.
