Has an investigation been started into this matter? At the very least, if incompetence or neglect can be proven, the nurse should be arrested for manslaughter.
The thing is getting evidence to support your accusations, and the longer things go without investigation, the colder the evidence gets. I would contact your local District Attorney's office for more advice.

I am so sorry for all that you've been through. Above all else, take care of your self. Ask your doctor for the name of someone you can talk to about the death of your baby. It could be an individual, or a group. The grief that comes from the loss of a child can take one to two years to resolve. And you notice I didn't say "get over" because that never happens. You just go on into a different normal.
As for what to do, I would talk to an attorney. Yes, initially it might cost you a retainer, but if what you've said is true - you have a good case against the nurse/hospital. You said they put the feeding tube down each feeding? Did they give you a reason that they did not leave it in place feeding to feeding?
I am not one for some hairbrain lawsuit against anyone, but I do think you may have a good case. And, yes, I know no amount of money could every make up for losing your baby - it does seem to be the only way to get the attention of some organizations to make a change. And, should you feel "off" about taking money, should that happen - maybe you could establish library at a nearby children's hospital or preschool, or something that would be meaningful to you, in the name of your child.
Again, please accept my deepest sympathy.

First off, I am so sorry for your lose. you need to get an attorney and sue the s**t out of the hosiptal, and the nurse. NOONE should be careless and in a hurry with a newborn. She needs to be punished. Your baby died due to her neglect and she doesn't need to be working with other babies. Get an attorney. I'm sure any will take your case and you will win. Good Luck!!!!

You know...it's hard to deal with things like this...I'm sorry for your loss. I had a baby brother that died due to medical complications. My mom was in labor early, and they gave her steroids to help my brother, Christopher's lungs develop in case he was born. Well, right before he was born, the doctors did an ultrasound and they saw my brother's lungs squeezing his heart and causing him to have a seizure while in the womb. He was only @ 7.5 mos. He was born unconsious and died twenty minutes later.
It hurts to loose someone so small and innocent. But we have to take into consideration the miracles of our day and time. Not very long ago, more babies were dying because of the lack of medical knowledge. We are still perfecting our abilities, but it's a win-loose situation sometimes.
God bless and comfort you.

First of all, I am so sorry for your loss.
See a lawyer. If the injury was caused because of the nurse's negligence then it needs to be stopped. If it was caused because she was in a hurry due to understaffing and high patient load then the hospital needs to change to be able to better care for patients.
If it was an accident, then just grieve for your baby.

I am terribly sorry if that happened to you. I wouldn't know what to do. Sure I would cry a lot. But its not our place to get revenge even though when it happens it would feel really good to get revenge. I had a child too that has a bit of a defect because the doctor was too rough with it. I was really upset but there was nothing I could do about it

Honey, get off the computer and get a lawyer on this asap... Your grief is very real, but you also are sitting on a jackpot that could fund a tower in your baby's memory, plus the college education's of many more of your children. Get going!

Not to sound like I am money hungry, but I would sue her and the hospital for millions of dollars. Even though money could never replace your child and she would be sitting her @%% in jail.
