I'm six months pregnant with a little girl. My husband and I agreed that we wouldn't tell anyone the name we chose until the day she is born. Unfortunately, I slipped when I was on the phone with my mom. Now I feel like I let my husband down, and betrayed a fun secret that we had with each other. Should I tell him? Should I just get over it, and assume that my hormones are what's making me feel so bad about this??!!!

Its your hormones. Just tell your mom she HAS to keep it secret. And tell your husband you slipped up.

In your heart and in your mind you already address and see this child by the name you have picked out for her. Its natural for you to slip up and call her by her name. Nothing to worry about.

Your husband should udnerstand, and if he doesnt, then he's in the wrong. So long as the baby is healthy and you're well, thats all that matters. Not who slipped up on the name.

Tell him you felt horrible.

Tell your mom you werent' supposed to tell ehr so she doesn't tell anyone else, and then tell your husband that you told her. It's very important to keep the trust in your relationship.

Your husband loves you and should be understanding that you accidently told your mom. Your hormones are raging so it's easy to let something slip when your excited.

If for some reason he does get angry, he'll get over it. Being a good father and husband is more important then getting amd over petty things.

Tell him, apologize, point out that it wasn't on purpose and you feel bad. Stress to mom that it was a slip and swear her to secrecy until the big day. If you've slipped this early you or both of you may slip again before the big day so don't worry yourself too much about it.

Of course you should tell your husband! Tell him you are sorry and it just slipped out - everyone knows that people make mistakes. Otherwise when he finds out he will think you are more loyal to your mother than him.

Or, you can just pick a new name! Then even though you told her something, it will be wrong!

When my niece was pregnant she slipped and referred to the baby as "she". We never mentioned the slip. The baby, she, is now a wonderful 10-year-old. No one has ever mentioned the incident. I think I would just let it go and act like the slip never happened.

all human beings has diverse flavor. mutually as Leonard isn't a generic for me, i don't hate it the two. some human beings will like it, some will hate it. in case you the two like it, then this is all that concerns. definitely, some young ones have poor names at present, and Leonard is definitely not terrible. this is a robust call, and that i do love Leo as a nickname. or perhaps even Lenny. in case you alter your recommendations, for human beings, you will purely be apologetic approximately it, and little question your next son may be Leonard as a exchange! shop on with what you adore (:

If your husband were to find out you kept this from him, he might start wondering what other things you have kept or will keep from him in the future. Just tell him you mistakenly did it and ask your mom not to discuss it with anyone.
