I have a friend that thinks she is pregnant. besides a missed period she said that her aereolas are huge. I know nipples get bigger when pregnant but do the dark parts of the breasts too?

I was suppose to have my period on sun day, i am on meds to make sure it come on time, and it has worked great. i was cramping about two days but it stopped. i took a test last night and it said neg but, on the wed i only have a 24 day cycle. so was it to early to take test or im i just not pergnant.

He is almost 3 weeks old and his nose still looks too wide like it has been smooshed inwards. Both my wife and I have thin noses(not small just thin), so we are wondering where it came from, or if it just got compressed during pregnancy and will pop out. If it is just wide that is fine, he is still beautiful, I just wanted to make sure it is ok.

My husband was talked into a vasectomy by an ex-wife, about 14 years ago and we'd talked about having a reversal done, I'd really love to have his child but it doesn't seem like a goal that is ever within reach. I've been wondering about adopting, and appalled at what I've seen in regards to minority babies being so much less expensive to adopt (I am Native American and would prefer a minority child) - it almost seems prejudiced how it is easier and cheaper to adopt a minority child....but I have started to ponder adopting an older child, as old as 5-7 years, and wondered if anyone has done this or has been adopted at such an age and had any advice? I know it won't be easy no matter what, but I have the time, (2 at-home parents) and money, and lots of love to give..... thanks for any ideas, thoughts or other help.

Who did you call for a blood test? Your regular doctor or your OBYGN you picked out? Sorry if that's a silly question, but I've been worried about it lol I mean do you have your PCP confirm it first, THEN go to the OBYGN or just go straight to the OBYGN?

I missed my period last month and I took a test three days ago and it was neg. I am cramping and my period doesn't come down and now my breast feel heavy and swollen and my nipples are very sensitive. I don't take birth control. Could I be pregnate even though the test was neg I was suppose to get my period on sept 26th I always get my period every month.

she used to go to sleep around 10 pm. about a month ago, around 9pm, then a week ago around 8. last night she went to sleep at 6pm! she ate at 4,i thought maybe she wanted a nap before dinner, that she'd be awake at 7, have dinner at 8 and go to back to sleep. instead, she slept until 4:30 this morning!, she was crying but her eyes were closed and she was kicking, like she wanted to roll (i put her to sleep on her back since she was born, recently she learned to roll from back to belly, and last night she slept on her tummy for the first time) i tried to comfort her, lightly rubbed her head and back, she had no fever but she kept crying. since it seamed like she was trying to roll from belly to back, i softly helped her and she started screaming! she looked scared! i panicked and picked her up, i thought she was hungry cause she missed a feeding, i fed her, she went back to sleep, woke up at 9am, had breakfast and went back to sleep! she always looks tired recently, what could this be?

My soon to be husband feels that since I didnpt get pregnant this month we should just stop trying. I feel that we should continue until it happens. I want to got o graduate school Fall 2007 and trying to have a baby now would make me due in the summer and I could still attend Grad school. If I don't have a baby now I have to wait 2 years until I am done with school which I don't want to do because I will then be starting a career. Am I being unreasonable or sensible? Is he just be selfish

I find my self saying stuff that my mom said to me. I swore I would never say to my kids, but I find my self repeating history...
1) I'm sick and tired...
2) When the kids ask Why I respond 'because I said so'
3) This room is a pigsty (I've never seen one of those)

I wasnt to specific with my first question i guess. Im 39 weeks pregnant with my 4th kid and the doctor is ready to induce. I dont want an induction because it made my contractions harder and more painful. I go through childbirth DRUG FREE no pain meds till after baby arrives. i believe in the old days of before they had drugs plus why drug my baby for my relief. Ive lost my plug about a week ago but im not dialated yet. Ive been exercising, i chase my 2 yr old around everywhere..lol..Ive heard of evening primrose oil... does it work?? Does any of the old wives tales work?? Thank you to everyone responding to my questions. Im really in no hurry to have my baby but the doctor is going to indue next week no matter what. I would just like to go with having to be administered pitosion again or any type of drugs. Good luck to all the parents of there and god bless you all

I am a typical sexual freak, LOL. I do enjoy it. I am married. But these days I have no desire, and if I could get away without it at all, it would be marvolous.
What can I do to to get back into the mood.
Mind you, I still feel pretty confident about my body,just no appeal at all.

my son is colicy he is going to be 3 months on the 16th of october. how long does colic last and if he is teething will i notice the change (differnce) between the two??? doctor confirmed he was colicy since he was about 4 weeks so i know its not because hes teething unless he started earlier than i think but wouldnt my doctor know that?? sorry first time mom

I am 20 weeks, 3 days and had a scan today. I really want to know the sex of the baby but they wouldn't tell me! (You have to pay in the UK). I got a picture of the scan and the baby is showing an adams apple. Do girls show adams apples or is it just boys....?? im confused!!

I was just wondering how common it is for women to not have high enough hcg levels to detect in pregnancy tests.. I have only been off the pill for one cycle and I am on "day 36". i.e I havent started my period, I have a lot more cervical mucus than I have ever had before, and my emotions are in heavy overdrive. BUT I have taken lots of pregnancy tests and still negative. Im not ready to try the doctors blood test yet... for fear I am halucinating!

So, anyone out there who was pregnant but it didnt show positive on your tests?
