I would say your months change on the 22nd of every month. I've had three and that's how I've calculated everytime, it's easier to go by weeks than months in my opinion. Good luck!

Gestation is actually closer to 38 weeks. They use 40 weeks to take into consideration the two weeks, plus or minus, between your last menstruation and your ovulation. You became pregnant with the ovulation which is approximately one week after the end of your period, which is also about one week long. Now take the calendar and count down 40 weeks from the start of your last period and you have the supposed due date. Back up 4 weeks and you would have the approximate one month to go point.
My wife always knew when she became pregnant so we would count 38 weeks from our intercourse and have a due date that was more accurate than the doctors estimate. Then she would never go full term (we have 6) so our birth dates were always ahead of schedule.
Every woman is different and you will have to discover for yourself how you react to pregnancy and childbirth.
Best wishes.

Just like regular calendar month, some have 4 weeks, some have 5 weeks. So the month is more for convenience grouping, that's why you go by 40 weeks.

base it on the weeks (40 weeks) and then you can still say a month when 4 have passed, or 5 when its appropriate. Base the months on like oct 1 to nov 1 but track the weeks in your head to be more accurate.
