I know he is at that stage where he wants to touch things and push buttons constantly. He has recently found the off/on button on the television to press, which is at his reach. He is very consistant. Whenever I say 'No, you may not touch that' with a firm voice and move him away from the tv, he just laughs. I don't laugh back because I want to show him that I am serious. If I laugh with him, he is going to think that I am playing with him. Why is it everytime I pull him away certain things that I don't want him to touch, he laughs eventhough he knows I am being serious?

He's cooked a couple times in the last few months. He works about 40 or MORE hours per week and I work about 18. Standing to cook ... makes the pressure and the swelling set in a little. What is your opinion. Should I make him do the rest of the cooking? He's in there playing his bass and I'm contemplating fajitas...he's hungry, I'm not.. just some more details! Thanks for your kind answers.

ok i normally start cramping, and my boobs start getting sore like 2 weeks before my period wich should be around the third, but i dont know because i started aug. 29 for my sep. period. but i havent been cramping but ive been having "problems" when i try to use the bathroom. If i pregnant it could have happened anytime this month. it could be in my head but im so used to things being the same always before my cycle. Oh and my stomach gets this wierd empty feeling but when i look at certain foods i feel like i might get sick. sometimes i feel like if i just go throw up my stomach might feel better.

I'm heavily into athletics of all kinds. The other day, my cross country coach pulled me aside and said he was going to kick me off the team. When I asked why he said because he knew the other girld on the team for 4yrs and only knew me for like 1 week. So im pretty upset....I told my mom, the principal spoke to him and he came back and said, "I HAVE to let you back on the team." He didnt say I WANT to, he said I HAVE... So I told him no. But im still upset about what happened. How can I deal w/ it and would you have done the same thing??

Iam 30 weeks pregnant with my 1st child and im just wondering if anyone else was having the same problem. My baby is always on the left side of my stomache since the first time i could feel him and it feels like his head is pushing up on my ribs. This is very uncomfortable when i sit up or lay on my left side for the past 3 weeks since he has gotten bigger. I think maybe its because its my ffirst baby and im kinda small.

My husband and I have been together for 5 years and married for 2.

I am 24, he is 26.

We went to college, bought a house, have careers and have traveled all over.

We are homebodies, love to spend time together and visit our family.

Our relationship is very stable and we are ready to start a family.

When friends of mine find out about our plans to have a baby soon then say really discouraging things.

They will say they love their children, but it strained their relationship and the changes a child causes brings a lot of tension.

They say to cherish all the time I can spend with my husband without children.

These friends were not married before getting pregnant, and were together for only 1-2 years when they had their child.

Why does it seem like my friends think having children are bad?

Why do they discourage us from bringing a child into a happy and stable marriage?!

I have gotten positive results on the ovulation predictor kits and every month I have the appropriate cervical mucous changes at the right time. Does this all mean that I am for sure ovulating or just that my body is telling itself to ovulate? I mean could all these signs be there and still no egg actually released? We have been "casually" ttc for a few years and no luck so I'm just wondering if I'm even ovulating.

Why in the world do girls ask strangers on Yahoo! Answers if they are pregnant? Do they really believe that some complete stranger(s) on Yahoo would really know the answer to that question? ... I say, go see a doctor already! Stop asking us, we have no idea.

He's 22 mo. His twin brother and little sister will be sitting there playing nicly and Brian will just walk over to them and push one over or hit one to take their toy. He's not always trying to be mean to them, sometimes he's trying to get them to wrestle with him, but it still hurts them. We've done time-out, spanking, both, distraction and isolation. I think we need something a little more creative. Any ideas?

Our 4-month old daughter has a touch of nasal congestion to the point where at times she sounds like a chinese pug snorting. We have tried a very tiny squirt of saline up the nose a few times but doesn't seem to "get rid" of it. It doesn't seem to be getting any worse, but by the same token, it's not going away, either. Any suggestions?

My son, Jason turned 3 in Aug. He has no intrerest in potty training at all. He has a potty that goes on the big potty. And can care less in it. We have tried big boy undies and all he did was pee in them. Didn't bother him at all.
Here is the thing. We have another son, cody due on Jan. 25th. Becasue of that we are not pushing the potty training. Don't get me wrong I would love to have him fully potty trained. But, it looks like he won't do it. What do you think? Should we try to push it? Or wait until after the new baby is born?
I don't believe in any kinds of rewards in potty training ( or for anything for that matter) and we are teaching him to sit for both pee and poo. I don't think boys need to stand to pee. We can sit for both so can boys.
