My son stayed in the same spot my ENTIRE pregnancy! from the first ultrasound I got at 12 wks, to the day I gave birth! He was head down, and on my left side, facing my right side. when he stretched it hurt where his head was (pelvic area) it felt like he was just grinding his head into me, and his feet went into my ribs....OWE! it is normal though. GOOD LUCK! hope he moves ;)

The little one has found a comfortable place and intends on staying there until the last moment. My youngest used to put his feet in my ribs. I would have to sit up really straight, scratch my tummy (right where his foot was) and suddenly see him move his feet to somewhere else. He did this alot so my only guess is that he was extremely comfortable in that one position.
A baby gains most of their weight during the last 2 months so don't feel so bad. It will all be over soon - then the real work begins.

ok, I'm not saying that it's not the baby's head pushing on ur ribs, but at 30 weeks pregnant, his feet SHOULD be up by ur ribs and his head down in the pelvic region. I too am 30 weeks pregnant and are kina small. but when I have discomfort in the ribs area, it's because of her feet. you should really ask ur doctor and make sure that ur baby isn't breech. not trying to scare you, but his head shouldn't still be up by your ribs this late in the pregnancy. good luck and congrats.

I'm 32 weeks pregnant and my son is constantly on my right side... never on my left. Its my first pregnancy too and I can still wear all my normal clothes (kinda scary thought), Its normal as my doctor told me to have the feeling that the baby is in your ribs. Congrats on your baby and good luck!

When I was pregnant my daughter always got in my ribs and yes it is very uncomfortable and it hurts!!! I used to push my downwards in between my ribs and stomach and she would finally go to the middle of my stomach. She was also always sideways with her feet at one end and her head at the other. I loved being preg.!!! It was amazing that a human-being was actually in there!!! Well......good luck!!!!

Everytime I would lie down to go to sleep, my baby would want to move to the other side of my stomach, so I'd move and he'd want to be on the other side. Just remember, only a few weeks left and then your stomach will be normal again.

Nope, don't worry about anything. It is all fine. I had that with my second child - she would stay in the right side, and she would actually kick me in the ribs, and it was really painful. I couldn't sit, it was uncomfortable to lay, etc. Enjoy)))))

Babies move all over in your belly just wait till you get a little foot stuck in your ribs now that uncomfortable. If you are to worried about his/her movements then check with your doc. I know when I was prego my kids all moved all over the place, they would be on one side and then move to the other side.
