Pregnancy & Parenting - 29 September 2006

Any advice would be very helpful at this point. For the last 3 days, my two yr old son, has been sick. Right now it's just runny nose, and coughing. yes I am taking him to the doctor, on monday if I can get him in. He has never really been sick, so we have been really lucky. The thing is, the last 3 days. It's almost like he has had an energy boost. I dont give him a lot of sweets, so I dont think it's that. He does not want to sleep, therefor I am not sleeping. I try to be understanding, but he is going for like 12 hour stretches with no nap. Then when he does sleep, which isnt until the wee hours of the morning. He is only sleeping about 5 hours. That is out of 24 hours. I want to help make him comfortable, and relaxed. I just dont know what to do at this point. If anyone has any pointers, please feel free to share. Also, keep in mind this has never happened before. So, I as well am still learning. Thank You!!

i felt nothing special during intercourse....infact there was no heavy bleeding as i have heard there should be...i had my periods normally.....i feel that it could not enter fully.....m i pregnant....the only abnormal thing i have noticed is some hair growth on my face...i have not even masturbated ever.....

Hi~
I am a parent of a 3 year old son and another son due in Jan. 2007. I have been reading questions here from teens who are looking for dates or asking about them. These kids are really young between the ages of 11-15. Don't you think that is too young to date let alone be by them selves? There is no need to date or hang out with their friends alone at that age. And what is so wrong with parents being with their kids where ever they go until they are 16. If you are with them then they can't get in trouble.

I would never allow my boys to date or even group date until they are 16. They wouldn't even be allowed to go anywhere alone until they were 16. That is the way my parents were with me and that is what I am doing with my boys. My feeling is this: If you don't want to be with your kids then you shouldn't have had them!

well i was trying to loose weight and well i started to jogg and situps but got reallly bad cramps i thought i was pregnant i got a test from da store it said i wasent but can it be wronge? i just recently got my shot iv been on it about 3 years and well nothing has heppen but now im tryin to loose weight and i was starting to excersise but i got cramps like i said so if da test said i wasnt then wat can it be? or is it wronge? i really dont know what da signs would be if i was pregnant on deop cuz i dont get periods so i wouldnet know any other way to know if i am or not ... so if u ladys have gotten pregnant on this shot let me know what da side effects were and could this harm da baby if u are pregant ad on da shot?

Me and my husbad are trying for a baby, 3 months. this month i got some prenatal pills to help and my period started today, it was 3 days late and my breast have been really sore and a clearish milky substance was coming from them, i was a little nauseated, gassy, and i really though i was pregnate even though my HPT said negative. if i a not pregnate then what was causing my breast to act like this? i will try to concieve activly to have a baby for one more month and i really want to make it stick help me out you guys what should i do? i have tried the calander and counting method, but its not working for us. we need this...

I went to the doctor yesterday for my annual and after the exam he told me my cervix is high, pointing down and to the left. He said it was ok. Now my question is, who has been told that and did it affect you getting pregnant? Make it harder? I know i could have asked him but women who have been through it know first hand.
