Pregnancy & Parenting - 29 September 2006

I have been having constant lower back pain for the past 3 days. I usually only get this on the day I get my period but I took a hpt at 5 days late and it came back negative. So now I still haven't gotten it at 8 days late but I feel like I should be. Has anyone experienced constant lower back pain early in their pregnancies and how soon should I test again? I have also been getting headaches that come and go and what feels like heartburn but I"m not sure

they want to give her another ultra sound.my daughter is a very small girl.her belly is round and looks pretty large to me.she is all baby.when i was pregnant i was fat all over.and they said i would have a big baby but she was 7 pounds 20 inches long.dont you think the size of her belly depends on the baby .babys come all diffrent sizes.i dont think that should mean she is less in weeks.what do you think?

-37 weeks and pre-eclamptic
-having lots of dull lower back pain and period like crampiness in lower stomach accompanied by the feeling that I need to have a BM but I know I don't.
-Relief when I sit on the toilet- just sitting (I don't quite understand this one)
-pelvic pressure galore, feels better when I can bear down on it
- at last visit on Thursday 9/28 I was 2 cm 40%
On the contrary this is my 3rd pregnancy and I've never had labor "symptoms" I just woke up to my water breaking and was in active labor- hard and active labor. I don't want to call my physician at 2 AM unless I know this is the real deal becuse his wife is 4 days further along than I am and I don't want to wake her or take her hubby from her. I feel like I need to sleep badly... but that achiness won't allow it. Any suggestions on what to do or perhaps you think I should call the dr?

My husband and I have been TTC for 3 months. It's possible that I'm just more in tune with my body and never noticed this stuff before, but it seems like all of a sudden I'm getting cramps in the middle of the month, am more irritable, disgusted at the scent of certain foods, constipated (which I've been told can happen from the prenatal vitamins I take), dizzy or nauseas far more frequently than I ever have been before...

This last month my period came 5 days early and was only for 3 days. 1 day was almost normal, the other 2 were brownish spotting (sorry to be so gross)..HPTs are coming up negative. I started my period on the 17th of September- when it should've been on the 22nd- and have taken a test as recently as 2 days ago, so I'm fairly certain I'm not pregnant.

My husband is trying to tell me that women's bodies can react to TTC itself, and that some of these things are common, even if you're not pregnant. Is this true?

I am 14 and never had a girlfriend and am only 5'0!!! and I hate my mom for not aborting me as a fetus! I am a damaged fetus I do not deserve to live in a tall persons world!! I mean shorter people have less dates less kids less marrige less jobs less pay less everything and am never going to get tall!?!? or get a girlfriend I am just gonna be a virgin for my hole life!?! no one takes me suriously or looks at me with respect!?! OK has ne one heard or experiecnce this before......was pregnant and the pregnancy tests keep saying negative ,one after another. This has been happening to me. I had expected my period on 25 of september and on the 21 of september i saw a little bit of blood when i wiped......that lasted for 3 days . i havent gotten my period yet and today is the 30 of september. i took about 4 hpt and all said negative . iv been feeling bloated up and feel like im about to throw up. i think i still could be pregnant because with my first pregnancy i felt the exact same way as i do now. what does everyone else think??????

I was on the depo shot, then I stopped because it was making me gain weight, I only had like 3 shots. When I was supposed to get my fourth one, I just didnt go. Why do doctors perform so many sonograms even if there are no problems with a pregnancy? I can understand one to estimate the pregnancies due date but some doctors repeat them. And what's this 2-4 weeks sonogram??? The embryo is like the size of a pea for heavens sake lol.

I took home pregnancy test on 27th day.. and the result is negative... i missed my period on 28th day i.e today.. am i pregnant .. is the test on 27th day is accurate... if once it is negative... does it change after 28th day... i want to have babies since 2 years... i am taking treatment also.... i have undergone follicular study and all... please only serious answers... b'cos this is going to disappoint me alot...

I have two boys 5 and 7 and they take more than one hour to finish lunch or dinner. They are very well behaved but is just as if lunch and dinner is their time to have fun, they make funny faces at each other, they laugh, and eating is the last thing on their minds.
I have tried taking away their priviledges like watching tv or playing games but nothing seems to work.
I am desperate to find a way to make them understand that lunch and dinner are times to eat and nothing else. Help please!!!!

My husband and I have been together for 12 yrs now. We both had a child when we met. Our children are only a few months apart in age. With our children going on 16 we have been discussing driving. He told one of our sons that he could not have a car until he acted more responsible. his grades are good but he has trouble shutting his mouth sometimes so I agreed to this thinking it would help him learn. But tonight he told our other child who is getting into mischief and making low grades he wants to buy him a car so he can start behaving. I was appalled at this because i had already told my ex that we wanted to wait on buying my son the car. I am not sure how to handle this

A little info about myself....My LMP was 8/25. I believe I ovulated 9/7. I think I experienced implantation bleeding 9/16 - 9/19. I am now 8 days late. I took a hpt and it was negative. My doctor told me that he thought it would be because I have PCOS and my hormones are out of balance. My question is how long does it normally take to get a blood pregnancy test back? I took one Thursday morning and they said they would call me Friday morning with the results but never did. Do you think maybe something showed up that they need the doctor to analyze? Or maybe some hcg was in my system but not enough to determine absolute pregnancy? I'm so confused, nervous and anxious. Has anyone else experienced this? Maybe hearing your stories will help me make it through this weekend.

I was wondering if anyone has heard of starting clomid BEFORE your period comes.
I have taken clomid days 5-9 and 3-7, and I've heard of 1-5 on the internet, but my RE said to start today,
which is day 28 of my cycle. I usually have 30 day cycles. I am pre-menstrual and think I could have waited, but he said it didn't matter because the blood test showed I was definately not pregnant, so just start it now.
Any info? Should I start it anyway???. . .
I'd LOVE to have shorter cycles but I don't know if this is safe.

When I put my 7 month old baby daughter in her bed,she rolls rite on her tummy.I know that they say its not safe to put ur baby to bed on their tummies,since this can cuz S.I.D.S.I do put her to bed on her bk & just after I put her down she rolls rite onto her tummy!! Yes I do check on her every hr.on the hr. of the nite..she has done this sincce she was 2 wks old.This really scares me to know that she sleep's on her bk.and everytime I check on her I'll put her on bk & then she rolls back over onto her tummy.plz dont b.hateful,mean,nasty when u ans.my question,cuz if u r mean,hateful or nasty I'll repot u!! I worry about her all the time & so very scared about S.I.D.S.Dose anyone else baby does this?
