Sounds like it to me, even a faint line is a line. They don't have to be equally dark.

Yes....Did the line show up before the 10 minute mark? Cause if it was past 10 minutes that would be an evaporation line and a false positive.

The positive line is really faint. Is this okay? An HPT tells you exactly one thing: your urine either has detectable pregnancy hormone in it, or it doesn't. The darkness or lightness of a line doesn't mean much. Generally speaking, a very light line can mean there is a small amount of hCG in your urine, and a very dark line can mean there is a larger amount of hCG in your urine. This is why you may get a faint positive at 10 DPO but a darker positive at 18 DPO. However, this is not always true. Tests are all different, and even tests in the same box may differ in sensitivity. Comparing light/dark lines will just drive you nuts. If you see a line in the "results" window, you're preg!

Good luck

When I went to the doctor for a urine test she told me they consider even a faint line to be positive. The other line will not show up at all if the test does not detect the pregnancy hormone so yes you probably are pregnant but you should go to the doctor for a blood test and confirmation just to be sure. Good Luck!

Could be, but take another test using a different brand. If you're still not all the way sure, go to a clinic. There are many places that will do a pregnancy test anonymously and for free.

Yes.Of course it's possible. In fact it sounds likely. You need to see a GP, who can confirm (or not) with a blood test, if it is very early days. Or wait another week, when my guess is both lines will be bright red. Sorry--but that's what it sounds like.

Even if it's faint you are pregnant if there are two lines at all you are but if you need more unmistakable results buy a fact plus. Plus or minus you can't go wrong. Good Luck

It doesn't matter how light the other line is. It means that it detected the HCG hormone.
