Yes, he needs to know, but don't expect him to come rushing back to you.

It's his right to know that he has a child... Even if he wants nothing to do with it. Besides some states have laws stating that the biological father MUST sign away all rights to a child before he can be adopted by the mother's current husband. And if the father was never told there was a child he has the right to step in at that point and fight for custody. So in short if you don't tell him the baby is his (cause sooner or later he will find out there's a baby) and you meet mister right in five years and he wants to adopt your child as his own you then have to notify his real father who can at that point take him from you for not telling him. It's not worth it! Just tel him.

Yes, I think you should tell him. But approach it as a mother, not his ex. You are simply doing what is right for your child. If he wants to come back or act like everything is different now that your having a baby it's fake. You have to prepare yourself to be strong and not let him persuade you to take him back. This will only be worse for you AND the baby in the long run. I know it must have hurt when he left, and if you take him back you will have to go through that all over again! He doesn't matter anymore. All that matters is what's best for your baby. And two parents that fight all the time because they are not truly happy is not what is best for him/her. Good luck and be strong! CONGRATULATIONS!

Yes. Even if you 2 arn't going to be together, you need to be able to get child support, and he needs to own up responsibility for his actions. Whether he's f---ing soneome else, or not, he knocked you up and needs to do the right thing which is be a part of the childs life. I would recommend not getting an abortion. You'll regret it. A child will be the light of your life forever, don't put it out...

Yeah give him the option of being around but remember this you can doit without him and there is a fair chance that you will have to anyway so don't get all freaky now if you have decided not to have the baby than no there is no reason to involve him if there is nothing he can do.

Yes. He is still the father of your baby, and he is responsible for child support, whether he wants to be involved in the child's life or not. Also, if you were to decide to give the baby up for adoption you would need to have his permission in order for it to be legal.

Every father to be deserves the right to know if they are going to be a father even if they don't want the child. At least you told him and he can't hold that against you.

Yes, without a doubt. But dont try to guilt him into coming back to you, because that is not the relationship that you want you child to grow up observing.

I definitely would. Whether he is a boyfriend or an X, he is still entitled to be a father and hopefully a responsible one. Congratualtions on your new journey and God bless!
