Excessive could mean diabetes, have it checked, it is a very simple test. On the other hand, as others of said, if it's just lots - then that is good. Most of us are dehydrated, it can cause a lot of problems later on in life.

I would talk it over with your pediatrician. Excessive drinking of fluids can be a sign of diabetes or in your 3 yr olds cas juvenille diabetes.

Mine does too- dont worry about it. My 5 yr old used to do it too now he drinks a lot less. Its just an independence thing I guess and its quicker to have a drink and fill up than a meal for them. Just make sure he's drinking a lot of water and not too much before meals.

Most toddlers prefer to drink over food. It is easier to carry around a cuppy then a plate of food. You just have to stand firm and limit his fluid intake. Talk to your pediatrician. He can tell you how much your son NEEDS. Otherwise, just brace yourself for the tantrums that are coming your way.

Ask your doctor. That's a symptom of diabetes, and I think of low blood sugar. And, of course, that disease has taken over too many people. Other symptoms include, excessive hunger, excessive urination, and other things.

if you think its too much have the child seen by his or her doctor soon it could be a problem like diabetes

well i could come to a seriouse condition.....if he drinks like so much he is bloated or just filled up on juice u need to give him a little at a time....
