Girl, are u crazy???? You have 10 more days to have people do anything and everything for you. You are pregnant and it's not the easiest thing in the world (especially the last month). You have that man cook you dinner. Your the one who has carried that lovely baby inside of you for 10 months and you also have to push that baby. That is a big job and he can cook you one lousy dinner. You should even have him get you ice cream after dinner. MMmmm!! Congratulations on your bundle of joy. Good Luck on the labor!!!!!

Yes I would be making him cook dinner every night. The fact that you are carrying his child and about to give birth in any minute should be enough encouragement.
Just because he works 40 hours per week isnt an excuse. In most relationships before a pregnancy and after the births both partners work 40 hrs and traditionally the women will come home and cook, clean, get the lunches ready for the kids.. etc....
Men need to take more responsibility in a relationship.
So again.... YES HE SHOULD BE COOKING EVERY DAY FROM NOW ON TILL WAY AFTER THE BIRTH AND THEN IF YOU RETURN TO WORK IT SHOULD BE DIVIDED 50/50 BETWEEN YOU TWO.

Can you cook together? Sit at the table and do the prep work and have him stand and cook. That gives you some one on one time before the baby is born to do something together.
After the baby is born you are probably going to rely on him more often to help you around the house, regardless of how much he works.
Be sure to tell your husband how much you appreciate what he does, but you are going to need his help from now on around the house. Be specific because sometimes men aren't sure where to start when you ask for help (sorry guys, it's true). Instead of "Can you help me out?" say "Babe, can you please do the dishes after dinner?" Give him a kiss and a squeeze to let him know you appreciate his help. This seems so simple but those gestures really make the difference.
Congratulations! Now I want fajitas though! LOL

Make him do it. Tell him abut the swelling and the pressure. Why cook if it is going to affect your health? Anyway, I am sure that your doctor would advise against you standing for prolonged periods.
Have a rest! you will have years on your feet cooking for your child over the years. And if cooking makes you feel nausious, tell your husband!

At this stage of the game carry out sounds good to me. I think you both need to be relaxing and talking about what is to come in the next 10 days. Children are a big responsibility and communication before the fact can make everything much more comfortable and run smooth!! Good luck!!

You guys should take turns. You shouldn't be on your feet cooking when he is fully capable. Have him go to the market & pick up some things, he could spend a whole day off making casseroles or something that you could easily heat up for him on work nights. Just talk to him & let him know that he needs to step up!

Honestly, you shouldn't be on your feet. And, if he doesn't feel like cooking, there's some healthy take-out dishes you can order. Plus, there are some great quick meals that he can do. Try watching Rachel Ray's 30 minute meals on the Food Network! :)

What the...? F(ck yeah, make him cook. He better get used to doing his share of work anyway, because there'll be plenty once that baby shows up.
Another good idea for your first few weeks is to get your friends to pre-cook meals for you and drop 'em off in tupperware - saves time and energy.

Well, if it's just standing that's getting to you, try using a chair with rollers on it. I've done that myself when not feeling well. If you're REALLY feeling down, let him know...if he's a caring, loving guy, I'm sure he won't mind helping out while you're incapacitated....after all, you are in the process of creating a human being! Best wishes!
