after the egg is fertilized how long does it take to implant some one told me it could take 8 to 12 days how true is this?

I get a call tonight around supper time from my kindergardens teacher. She tells me that the students had sherbert for a lunch time snack in styrofoam cups.
My daughter was licking it and using the cup "like an ice cream cone" but from being SO tired or not paying attention took a few bites of the cup??!!! I was shocked!
(When I asked my daughter she was so embarassed and denied it, LOL)

I mean, it's just a "few bites" like 1 inch by 1 inch the teacher said - and no belly aches or anything. Should I worry???

Oh please please please help!! I'm sick all day long, every day. I had some with my other 2 girls but I don't remember it being this bad. I'm sick all day, everyday. I CAN'T TAKE IT!!! I know that it's a good sign (per my dr) but it's making me crazy. Unless I'm eating or sleeping I feel sick. And I can't exactly do both of those all day. I can't do the saltines. I have yet to actually throw up, but sometimes just wish I would. I go to the dr on friday for an u/s and I'm going to mention it, praying he'll give me something but not counting on it. Could it be because I'm older? I'm turning 33 on Friday and my girls are 8 and 4, so it's been a while since I was pg last. Any good suggestions? HELP ME PLEASE!!!

My one year old son has started hitting me in the face... It really makes me sad because I am a very gentle person. I try hard not to raise my voice and I NEVER hit! I don't know where he learns to be so aggresive. Any ideas on how to get my son to stop hitting me and others?

My friend Janelle I just found out is cutting herself...again. She did this a few years back too. We talked to her about it, and she said it was fine. She's one of the happiest people you'll ever meet and because of her appearance you would not think she would do something like this, but she really does. She has horizontal scars on her arms from it too and you can see them if you're in the right light. I'm not exactly the closest to her this year, but I'm worried sick about her as well as another friend. We don't really want to talk to guidance because we don't want Jamie to be mad at us, but also she admits she is fine. I know that an accident could happen, and one slip and she's gone. We can't really talk to her because she says that she's fine and she's not doing it deep, which she isn't. BUT IT'S SCARY AS HELL! What should we do??

First time i conceived in the month of November 2004, but due to some complications I was bound to have a surgical abortion and it was conducted on 26-01-2005. After a year in the month of May, 2006 again i conceived and consulted the doctor. According to the testing and sonographic report the situation shown in the report was not good. The foetus was not at the right place and plesanta was in the lower position. After taking so many medicines and injections, bed rest, it has not come to the normal condition and finally in the 9th week, I feel pain and bleeding, admitted in the hospital, Doctor suggested to have a surgical abortion. Finally it happens on 17-07-2006. Now after 2 month, on 26th of September I have taken a pregnancy test it is positive. What to do is there any risk?

I was on depo before and I didn't like it very much. It has high hormone levels and made me gain weight pretty quick. Anyways, I got off because my hubby and me wanted a baby. I'm 25 years old, and my baby girl is due on September 30th. This is my first child, and my husband won't be able to be with me because of his job, he is away on a business trip. He feels really bad. But I am extremely scared because my sister is the one who will take me to the hospital, but she's never had kids. I know that labour is painful (according to what I have heard) so I was wondering if you could give me advice about how to deal with the pain. Like any breathing techniques or distractions. Our son is a lovely 4 month old. An "easy" baby. The thing is my husband stresses over every little thing with the baby, and this makes him want to avoid the baby. He gets into the what-if mindset: what if the baby wakes up in the middle of the night and wont go back to sleep? (My son sleeps 11 hrs a night 99% of the time!) What if he cries when I'm watching him and doesn't stop. etc. The stress keeps dh from sleeping at night & b/c of the stress he finds it a chore to spend time with the baby. And what I don't get is when dh is with the baby, he seems to have a good time.

I've tried to be understanding b/c it is a big adjustment. But it's been 4 months now. And I'm tired of the fights about whose responsibility things are. (It's not as if the baby wasn't wanted. We've been married for 7 years, and we ttc for over 3 yrs.)

I love our son, and I'm turned off by dh's reaction. Help?

I still get up and go to school and everything. My back hurts constantly and my belly cramps having to sit all day. Sometimes when i walk my belly starts cramping so bad i just have to stop. I'm having a lot of white discharge. My stomach tightens up sometimes and then relaxes that problemly just braxton hicks. But is all these cramps and discharge normal. My baby is constantly moving around, which is uncomfrontable, and I'm finding it really hard to get to sleep but i feel better when i am laying down.

I have a 12 years old son and my sister has two daughters, 13 and 12 years old, we are single mothers. My sister visited me last Friday. Then she gave me a call that same day; I was already sleeping, and she told me that her older daughter dared my son to touch her sister in the breasts. He touched her and ran! Now her daughter wants to kick him in the nuts; my sister and I agree that is the best thing to do. He sure doesn’t want to be kicked and is really scared, I am not happy about it either, but he must learn to respect women, it is for his own good, and serves him right. My sister is coming to visit me again this Friday.
After he touched her, she tried to kick him but he defended all her kicks, so now I am going to hold him and let her kick him. Do you think he is too young to get this kind of punishment for the first time?
I will post a new question after my sister visits me, to let you know what happened.
