My first period came 65 days after my miscarriage. That is over two months of wiating before trying again. I think it was my bodies way of saying it wasn't ready for another pregnancy yet but I am hoping it is now.

I miscarried December 4 2000. And conceived January 2001!
Our daughter was born a healthy 8 pounds 11ounces
9 months later! it had only been one month since I m/c

Devasted again in April 2003 we miscarried a set of indentical tiwns. We decided to wait almost 4 months before trying again and the first month we tried we conceived.

Our son who is now 21/2 was born a healthy 11pounds
4 ounces! Not joking! He was rock solid! Emergency c-section since he was so large and breach! But perfect!

We have had a total of 4 m/c throughout our marriage, and I have say the key is for you to feel emotionally ready to try again. And obvious that your body is ready for you to try again.

Try stay postive and take care of yourself! Keep taking pre-natal vitamins while you are trying to conceive and folic acid!

Good Luck!

you need to let your body rest after having a miscarriage. after my first miscarriage, I got pregnant a year and a half later. My child is now 9 years old and very healthy.

after my 1st loss I got pregnant again right away... after 1 period and it was too soon for my body which caused my 2nd loss... both of my losses were 17-18 weeks... I then waited at least 3 cycles I think and I got pregnant with my daughter. I would recommend just from personal experience... wait until you have had at least 2 periods... let your body get somewhat back to normal... I wish I had
