There's nothing realy that you can do except move the monitor to a different spot. Even a foot to the left may help! We just bought this house, and when we first moved in, I heard VOICES through mine. Turns ou, we have a cell tower very near here. I just moved the monitor from my nightstand to my husband's and it stopped.

THe only way to get rid of the outside sources is to get a monitor witha higher frequency. the 2.4ghz are the better quality sized ones.
The only other thing i can suggest is to move it around the room, some spots may not pick up as much outsides sources as other areas of the room.

I had the same problem all i was able to do was either go buy something different from the other monitors or really you may just have to stop using it i know with my first i slept with my monitor and he was across the hall from me but with my secound i had the problem of picking up other monitors and i would run up for her but it wasnt her so i just stopped using it it takes a bit to get used to but you will ...........mothers instinct

GREAT QUESTION! Ours is fine in our apt, but when I go to my parents house in the country, it buzzes in the middle of the night for no apparent reason. I think it picks up on their portable phone line (or their neighbors). Go figure, and I live in a huge apt complex in the city and it doesn't happen here.

WOW! I had that happen on my uncles computer one time freaked me out...I would just listen to it and write abook about everyone drama..haha
