Pregnancy & Parenting - 15 September 2006

Ok I went to the OB and today she did the exam and she mentioned that my uterus is soft and my cervix is closed. I get all these little flutters in my stomach and at night I get more, I also get bad leg cramps..one woke me up this morning at 3am.

My question is has anyone been told that their uterus is soft and cervix is closed when they found out about being pregnant?

ive taken several pregnancy tests (urine and blood and they were all negative. but im so convinced that im pregnant. i eat more than i usually do..i have weird cravings that i really have to run to the store and buy it........headaches, always feel like im about to throw it, and i gained 5 pounds (and it takes me forever to gain weight)... n ive been having so many dreams that im pregnant..night after night. can i possibly be pregnant or am i just paranoid.

I have two kids, but since I 've had the second my doctor told me I have polycystic ovaries. My husband and I want another baby and we've been having unprotected sex for at least 1 yr. and still nothing. Does anyone know about poly-cystic ovaries?

Tyler-the drawerhe used to be in my 1st garde class and just recently moved back. he is a really good artist. Trey-the popular wannabe athelete. but really sweet.and he really likes me. Kyler-the funiest guy i know makes me laugh in every class i have with him.gets really good grades too. Walker- moved ere last year he is really hot and cute but kind of a player. Nick- the most athletic guy u will ever meet \he dosnt even own a pair of jeans. he always wears silky boy shorts but he is also funny and nice.

I have been swearing a lot lately and thats not allowed in my house. I want to punish myself well anough to stop. I have tried everything grounding myself,"time outs" ,spanking but nothing is doing it. how can i spank myself to make it hurt anough that i will stop or any other punishment i can do to myself

My last normal (5 day, heavy bleeding) period started Aug.2nd. On Sep. 2nd I started bleeding (really light) and only lasted 3 days. Now, if that was my period then I should have been ovulating today. And usually when u ovulate you have clear stretchy mucus, right? Well.....I have nothing of that.
My boobs have been tender, naucious some times after eating or in early morning when at work, boobs feel heavy and in the middle of the nipple I have small white spots.
I have a doctors appointment on Tuesday for a blood test.
What do u ladies think of this? Just want your opinions.

I'm 35 weeks, and just had an ultrasound last month my third one. They did it for a growth measure which everything turned up fine. Today when i had my check up they measured my belly with one of those measuring things and again said everything looks good measuring right up.

On my way out they said they wanted to do another ultrasound on growth? Why? If everything is okay what is the point.

I have had no problems through out my whole pregnancy, and have gained 33 pounds. My due date is Oct. 24, and they say if i go that long it will be a 7 pd. baby.

So what is the point in another ultrasound it just worries me.

I gained sooooo much weight!!!! I gained 40lbs I cannot get rid of. I've been off of the shot ofr a month now..and been making an effort..but nothings happening. I've heard of girls who dont gain a pound on the shot. I'm 220lbs. I WAS 180lbs when i got the shot. Does anybody have any suggestions to loose that weight!!!..fast preferably!! lol (I obviously know ..dont eat junk..yada yada yada..excercise...and what not)

My reason for asking this (and I am embarrassed), is that recently I have been feeling sick in the mornings. As well as that, I have been experiencing strange cravings for unusual foods (such as coal, chalk, candle wax, etc)

I have not been intimate with a female recently, but I have been in close proximity to pregnant females (using the same toilets, breathing the same air, sharing cups, etc)

Could I really be pregnant, or is just all just a figment of my imagination?

I posted this and it turned into a question about honey because of some one's answer.

My son is seven months old and probably for the past three months, I haven't been able to get him ajusted to a new schedule during the day--and have him stick to it. It is driving me crazy. He's so nice and smiley in the morning, he even sleeps from 8:30 at night right until about 7:00 in the morning. I feed lunch him at about 11:30 and then put him down for a nap at 12:00 or 12:30. With in a matter of a half hour he will wake up again. He'll be cranky--the rest of the day. I know all he needs is sleep but I just have no clue what to do? I feel like the rest of the day is blown because I'm just trying to make him nap--the whole day long! Today I tried to just let him cry it out--he cried forever! I try to comfort him and hold him before he goes to sleep--the minute I put him down he's awake again. I just don't know what to do...I feel I've tried everything! Any suggestions?

Do i need to see a docter and have my sperm cheked do i need to change my diet, or for that matter drink less Alcohol, i have a couple of beers after work does this effect my sperm. i will do what ever i need i just wanted to help create a healthy baby :) Ps I'm a 39 year old man and have no kids and I'm getting maried soon

I am 4 weeks pregnant. I have been having some very mild cramps on and off for couple of weeks now, nothing particuarly painful, similar to period cramps but lighter. I wasn't too worried about them but called a doctor just to check everything was ok. What he said has now terrified me and I'm really worried. He says that there is probably something wrong with the pregnancy and i have a high chance of misscaraige. When I said that I have been having these little cramps/aches for a while now but not constantly, and could it be just my body adjusting to the pregnancy, he told me that is an old wives tale, and u don't get cramps in early pregnancy????? I am absolutely terrified now. I have had a misscariage a few years ago and am really worried. Has anyone out there experienced cramps in early pregnancy?? and if so, what were they like and how long did it go on for??
