Like everyone said, "a wives tale" right. This is funny, in a magazine i was reading, 2 identical twins were pregnant at the same time and the one with the boy carried low and the one with the girl carried high. they had them side by side in the picture and it made u think. So one said it can be like 50% of the time. But who really knows!!! But things make u go hummmm...

No it doesn't I'm afraid.
All pregnant mothers carry high until the baby drops nearer term.
It's just the position of the baby until it turns.
The only way to know the sex is to have a scan & that isn't always 100% correct & that why some hospitals do not let you know the sex.
Giving birth is the best time to find out the sex (even then, some men get it wrong...lol).

Ive heard that when you carry more in yor back youre having a girl.

I'm not sure about carrying high or low but I know that if your belly is all in the front, like it's a ball under your shirt and you look at yourself from behind or someone else looks at you from behind and it looks like you are not pregnant that means it's a boy. But if you make a really round belly and it spreads and it's all over the place and the area right above your buttocks becomes wide and you look more like your fat and not pregnant then it's a girl. Also If your hair and skin become really nice it's a boy, if your hair becomes dull and you start having skin problems it's a girl (they say girls do that to us 'cause they are taking all of our beauty for themselves)

It doesn't mean anything either way. I am carrying low and just found out I am having a baby girl.

That doesnt mean anything. I had my daughter 11 weeks ago and she was very low. i was running to the loo all the time. everyone said it would be a boy and because of my shape. when you have you scan, if the babys heart beat is over 145-150 its a girl if its lower its a boy. how long have you got to go?

Thats what they say I have had a girl and carried high I'm carrying high again and its another girl. Who know's so many different stories.

I found that to be true.I also noticed with my boy a had a huge appitite and alot of water retention,but with my girl I ate alot less with no swelling from the water retention.This is only from personal experience though.As long as you and the baby are healthy it doesn`t matter if it`s a boy or girl.They are all precious gifts.

Usually you are more allround heavier with a girl and mainly bump with a boy.
I had a girl and a boy previously and carrying another boy now (due tomorrow) and my bump is very high.
I tend to believe its how you carry, but again we are all so different
