Thank you for all the responses to my first question. We pulled our son immediately and he is now being picked up by a new sitter at his old daycare because that is where the bus stops. The daycare spoke with the boy who beat up our son and he admitted what he did and wrote an apology letter. His parents were contacted and made aware of the situation. The daycare also went over playground rules and safety with all the students. The excuse we were given for the staff member not taking action was that it was her first day on the job and she swears she did not see him being hit. I'm glad the boy apologized for what he did and that his parents and the daycare are going to help him with his "anger issues" but I don't feel comfortable with the explanation of why nothing was done when it happened. Should I feel obligated to pay the 2 week withdrawl fee if my son is not going there anymore?

I just read a question about when should a child be allowed to see sex and kissing on television--I don‘t think there is anything wrong with that question, by the way. I have always questioned that and violence. It seems in America it is okay to watch violent things on the television. For God's sake--cartoons are more violent. Why do we take so much time and effort trying to shield our children from sex? In my eyes sex is natural. It is something people do--if you have talked to your kids about sex, explaining when two people love each other they have sex then why is it that big of a deal? Why do I see so many American children watching Pulp Fiction--before they are allowed to watch Titanic? If kids know they are just movies--not to get confused with real life--then why is sexual content so considered much worse then violence? Before you jump to conclusions--no I’m not talking about full fledged porn--just movies with sex scenes.

Im 9 weeks pregnant and this morning is just not going well. Ive got diarrhea and bad allergies this morning. I dont know if that is okay? I cant get into the doctor today, i dont think its severe enough anyways. Im debating wheather or not to go home form work. My boss would probably get really mad because I had missed a lot of work earlier in the year (before pregnant, havent missed any since I found out) which I understand, it is my fault...is there anything I can take? Any advice?

I have been to my doctor and he told me when I will be ovulating and when I have to try to get pregnant. My husband is 40 and has a son out of his previous marriage. We have been trying for three year without any luck. Sometimes my periods are late and then I think I might be pregnant but without any luck. We do not have the amount of money to pay for tests and all that and need another few suggestions like if there are anything my husband can take to make his spermcount more as well as something for me.

My friend, also a sex worker, says:
When a man's penis bends to the left he is more likely to have baby girls, or gay boys when it bends to the right, he is more likely to have baby boys.

I think it just bends opposite to his right handedness. If he is right handed it bends left, if he is left hande it bends right.

Who is correct?

This pregnancy wasn't really planned, and I'm not so old fashioned that I need to be a married mother. But I'd hate it if my baby would get bullied because it's parents aren't married.

Oh - I do know who the father is: he's a robot just like me, isn't it wonderful?

I got very drunk last night. Apparently I had cybersex and now I'm pregnant with a cyberbaby. If it's morning sickness I should be cured in a couple of hours, right? But if it's a hangover, I'd better start eating asperines.

My wife is pregnant again, she didn't have any drinks at all when pregnant last time, afraid it would infuence the baby. I agree, but don't know if you have to become a teetotaller. Perhaps a relaxed attitude is even more important for baby. Our bodies have to filter oput all sorts of toxins and possibly its better if the baby is accustomed a little to what it will CERTAINLY encounter later in life. Kind of like immunisation. There was a story of a guy who did so much purification and careful diet vegetarianism etc that he couldn't eat a single peanut without having a reaction. I wouldn't want that.

Note: She is in NO danger of drinking a lot!

Gosh, I am sure this will be controversial. Please don't answer if you can't be positive and informative and NO religious freaks please!!

Yes I know couples fight over parenting styles, limit setting, out of control, disrespect step-kids (minor and adult). But is it outrageous or crazy for a couple to divorce because of these problems? Like if a couple has been reasonably happy with no kids for 10 yrs then 7 months after getting custody of 4 of the bio parent's kids it becomes clear that they are all rude and respectful to the stepparent, the bio parent's style of parenting is basically to let them do as they please (examples: teen kids backtalk and disrespect step parent daily, 20 yr old makes $250 a week in a job but bio parent refuses to have him pay any bills in home or even buy his own food). Bio parent very rarely corrects them for disrespect to the stepparent, etc. Would it be considered unheard of or silly for the step-parent to leave this 10yr relationship and seek divorce due mostly to these problems or is this a common reason for divorce?

I have been reading that girls find out that their baby's are dead in their womb as far as 20 weeks (5 months) in their pregnancy. I am 5 months, when I am pregnant I do not make big bellys at all and my normal range of weight gain is between 7 & 10 pounds - this is my third child, but with this pregnancy at times I do not feel pregnant at all nor do I feel like I have a baby inside, but other days the baby is moving alot and I "feel" pregnant. Is there a monitor that I could buy so I could hear my son's heartbeat when I want to and that it will not be harmful to the baby?

I don't know who you are, but yesterday you wrote that you wanted to know what a good age is it to start spanking your child, you said your baby was 7 months old. I mean i know your spanking that child, (not yet). but come on, sure they need some disapline. I'm sorry but have just 3 words for you, child parenting classes, ask them. now days you can't spank them like when were kids. come on now.

this week we found that my wife may be pregnant, the best we can figure is that it happened 3 weeks ago. The problem is my wife took an asprin shortly after the thought conception day, along with a motrin this last week, in this time frame she has drank cafiene and one occasion of some alchohol as well. We are heading to the doc soon, but I am curious if we should be really concerned.

But I was just wondering if it is safe to sleep on my stomach how I do not have a belly and it is not uncomfortable for me. Now a days, everything seems to harm the baby as back in the days, nothing was a big deal.. I have heard that one is suppose to sleep on the left side, etc.
