Ok I went to the OB and today she did the exam and she mentioned that my uterus is soft and my cervix is closed. I get all these little flutters in my stomach and at night I get more, I also get bad leg cramps..one woke me up this morning at 3am.

My question is has anyone been told that their uterus is soft and cervix is closed when they found out about being pregnant?

Take care.

Hi there..Am I right this is your first pregnancy?...If so, of course you are going through alot of changes, and now know a new life is growing inside of you...Pretty cool huh, yet a bit scary...Am I ok, doing the right stuff, is what I'm feeling normal..etc..all those things your thinking....Don't worry so much...Mother nature has a way of taking care of itself...The flutters, your too early to feel the baby move...it's too small...You are probably anxious, and that is probably nerves...leg cramps could mean you need more potassium, bananas are loaded with potassium....try eating one a day for a while, great for the baby....You relax and don't worry so much, you've got a long way to go....Women have been giving birth since the beginning of time dear, enjoy the new things that will happen, the day your baby moves you will feel it, you'll know...Have a great day, and have a wonderful baby to adore!!!!

No I wasn't told that but it's a good thing, nothing to worry about. When I was pregnant was the only time that I've ever gotten a charlie horse in my leg, and it was always at night. You need potassium for those cramps, bananas are good for that. Congrats!

Leg and foot cramps can be either low potassium or it could be that you are not drinking enough water. Ask your doctor to check your potassium levels and make sure you are getting 8-10 glasses of water a day.

It's normal, your body changes when you get pregnant. Leg cramps are very common when pregnant, I used to get them in both legs at the same time when I was pregnant. Good Luck with your pregnancy and with your new baby that will arrive soon.

Yes. That means that everything is progressing normally.
Your cervix will remain closed until you go into labor. So, you will probably hear that at every appointment.

Congrats!
