I am really curious as to why some people on here feel the need to bash breastfeeding and those who chose to do so. Even the most sincere questions are met with sarcasm and negativity and I have to ask...why? What purpose does it serve to be negative about breastfeeding when others are seeking encouragement or advice?

I just read a question about “real sex!” It made me think--what do people consider “sex” now days? If you found out your daughter or son preformed oral sex on their partner--is that considered “sex?” If there was any penetration for any amount of time, do you consider that “sex?” What measurers are you going to/taking to prevent your son or daughter from having sex at a young age? Do you even think teenage sex is even preventable? Please, if you aren’t going to be mature--save your answers for another question. Thank you for all your responses.

My first child is an academic achiever and my second, though smart and talented, only puts forth moderate effort in school and sports. He is fortunate that with moderate effort he does well anyway. How do you motivate/teach a more laid-back child to put forth his best effort? It's not that I want him to make the same grades as his brother, I just want to see him do his best in whatever he does.

Well since my last period, me and my boyfriend have been having sex like every day to every other day and it could be a chance that I could be pregnant but I am not sure because if I am this would be my first child. Since this time, I have been very sleepy throughout the day and night. I am normally a person who goes to sleep at around 11pm and get up around 7pm, but now I sleep before work and after work, I am just constantly tired. Could this indeed be a sign of pregnancy and if yes what are thechances? Please no insulting answers.

I am 22 days from having a scheduled c-section, and have not felt my baby kick since Saturday afternoon. He has pushed on my stomach, but not enough movement for my liking. Is this normal? I have a doctors appointment on Thursday. This is my 3rd pregnancy, but this pregnancy is totally different from my other 2 and I honestly don't remember too much about being pregnant.

Shouldn't it prevention be aimed more towards people who know thier pregnancy will be unwanted, knowing they would abort or give out to adopt?
Are babies who are "unplanned" less worthy than those who are? I woud venture that over half of the population were unplanned. So what?

1. How long after your regular period does implantation bleeding typically occur?

2. How long into pregnancy can you expect to start experiencing nausea? Senstivity to smell, or even words?

3. Mood swings start when?

4. Do you get period like cramps?

I've had all of these things, but its the cramps that keep from going out and getting a H.P.T... I'm on a relativly tight budget and live in a REALLY small town where you can't just head over to a clinic. We don't have one. Sooo... Before jumping to conclusions and going out buying a test, I want to know WHEN they occur and if those things are normal when pregnant.

I would like to start out by saying--I am not trying to be rude or give the impression that I dislike overweight people. My whole family is and I really could care less what a person looks like. I just was wondering:

Are you overweight?

What do you believe is the cause?

Did you become overweight due to having your child?

Do you feel you are looked down upon for being that way?

If you aren't overweight, do you look down upon people who are?

--AND--

What is your best advice to not gain the weight in the first place?

Again this is not meant to offend anyone. If it does offend you please just skip the question--you do not have to answer! Thank you in advanced for your responses!

I have a 3 1/2 yr. old boy who will not eat breakfast. He will drink milk or juice. If I ask him what he wants, he says pudding or fruit snacks. That I won't go for, I try yogurt or fruit instead. I offer many choices during the week, cereals, pancakes, waffles, eggs, bacon, doughnuts(which he'll eat the frosting off of, not the doughnut) etc. I also have two ohter kids, they both eat what is given to them . I don't want to cater too much to just one child. I need some ideas? He doesn't eat well at any meal, by the way. Eats like a bird and is very picky.
