Just an update, My daughter spoke with her OBGYN, he advised Claritin, or tylenol cold and sinus. Thanks for all the input!

It's best to ask your doctor...but when I had a bad cold..I was told to take Robutussin CF

I tooks sudafed and tylenol during pregnancy, upon the advice of my doctor.

Tylenol is the only thing besides a specific robitussin for cough. I say the best thing is hot tea and broth.
