Pregnancy & Parenting - 11 September 2006

What changes go on "down there" in early pregnancy. I am TTC and I have noticed that it feels different down there. (it could be me paying more attention and having never noticed things before) I don't have a disease or infection so I know it isn't that. I was just wondering if any of you pregnant women have noticed anything different in that department. Thank you for all your answers♥

I do not have kids, so I really can't answer this, but I personally believe I would and my husband feels the same way. Both of us were spanked as children and turned out to be successful adults who never got in trouble @ school or with the law, etc. I think too many children don't get spanked now days and thats why they have so many problems. My nieces/nephews are never spanked and they act terrible all the time. Spare the rod, spoil the child....

I would like to find out what my rights are at work. I want to know if I HAVE to be paid sick pay if I am off work with a pregnancy related illness or if it is the employers choice. Please can anyone let me know and send me any useful links about all my rights at work. Many Thanks

Hi I recently found out that i am pregnant with my first child. I had an U/S done at by my calculations 4 weeks and 4 days. And all that was found was a gesational sac, normal shape implanted perfectly. I have had breast tenderness, fatigue, increased urination. On US i didn't have a yolk sac yet. Should i worry or was this way too early? On Blood work my first Hcg 20 DPO was 444 and 2 days later was 1369. Has anyone ever had a similar situation to find out everything is really fine? I have had no cramping no bleeding no backaches nothing indicative of a miscarriage and i am now a little over 5 weeks. Thanks for any help through this confusion.

I know that worrying isn't good for the baby and I try so hard BUT this is my 8th pregnancy with only 1 living child. I lost my last baby at 20 weeks due to her umbilical cord being wrapped around her neck 3 times. The losses before her were all between 6-9 weeks due to low progesterone. I would go in to see my doctor and there would be no heartbeat, no other sighns of loss-No bleeding or cramping at all. Now they have addressed my hormone problem with my last and current pregnancy with progesterone which seems to have helped now that i'm 13 weeks but I still can't stop worrying that I have lost the baby again and I'm just not having any signs of it. I don't know what to do, I even wake up in the middle of the night thinking of it. Any ideas of how I can seetle myself down? I see my high risk OB every 2 weeks.

hello i'm a single my husband is in jail i don't know what to do i need to move out of my parents house ASAP. they are moving back to Puerto Rico and i don't know what to do i can't move back to PR. December my credit is not that good and i don't make much i'm trying to go back to college but is so hard with my kids and being a single mother doesn't help. does any one knows some good advice for me ??? after marriage? I have been with my bf for about 2 and a half years, he never hit me but he did touch me while quarrelling or while teasing me. He is one of those guys that wants things to be done the way he says or else I am grounded.

For example if I don't want to make sex because I'm afraid to have unprotected sex during ovulation, he won't make any sex for about a month or so rather than use a condom or else he will make sex after ovulation is over but he ejaculates inside and such other things.

Moreover he doesn't like to let me go out with friends, in fact I never did go out with any friends except with him.

I'm afraid he might physically abuse me in the future? Are these signs of such things or am I completely wrong?

I'm almost 20

ok so me and this girl dont talk anymore (we dated tho)...we dont call eachother at all and try to avoid contact...and whenever we talk again its cuz she called me...we talk for a few days and then we go back to the not talkin to eachother thing...it always lasts like 2 weeks until she calls again and when i ask what happened she simply respones nothing....

First of all thanks for all that answered on my previous "baby on a plane question"....

I know that the plane affects the baby's ears... is there any way to stop that?? I know for other people, all they have to do is chew gum or wear earplugs... but what about a baby?

My boyfriend and I were for together for 6months when I found out I was pregnant. We were so inlove and so happy. I was the girl he was going to marry, he'd even planned our kids names out! At the time we found out (before the news!
), we were having alot of troubles...which we would have usually sorted out... so much happened at once.

He was REALLY angry and whatnot especially because I was considering keeping the child. Everything got really nasty, even his sister got involved in being horrible....
It has now been over 2 months and we're not talking, If I send him even a nice text message he's abusive and replies back nastily and tells me to never msg him again.
He use to be the most beautiful boy I'd ever met... and would do anything for me, so loving and caring... now he's totally off the rails.

Do you think he will come around over time?
Will he ever want to be a part of his babys life? (due in march)
Is it just a time thing or is this it?

Why do alot off people think it costs so much to have a baby... When it doesn't. Me and my partner have 3 children and he's the only one employed... Choldren who are spoilt just learn to grow up wth no respect for anybody. Money cant bye love and thats what children need most!!

A european friend of mine had both her kids potty trained by their first birthdays (they're teenagers now.) I believe that practice is now called Infant Toilet training. Sounds ambitious, but the proponents say in the end it's easier than trying when the child is in their terrible-two's. Has anyone tried this?

I just got married, therefor lost my virginity within the last month, just started a new job, have recently minimized my excercise to almost nothing due to being too busy (used to work out at least 4 times a week) and have gained a bit of weight. Took a pregnancy test that proved negative, are all of these enough to delay my period for about 10 days now?
