I just got married, therefor lost my virginity within the last month, just started a new job, have recently minimized my excercise to almost nothing due to being too busy (used to work out at least 4 times a week) and have gained a bit of weight. Took a pregnancy test that proved negative, are all of these enough to delay my period for about 10 days now?

Okay Eric's baby, not even close haha I 'm not that stupid, and my period usually is two days later each month, but this is a little excessive.

This happend to me when i got married 6 months ago. The change in ur life style, with ur work outs and being so busy, causing stress (nothing negative) its just ur whole life changes and ur always busy. and having sex now, i feel pushes it back because ur body was not used to all this. if u dont feel any pregnancy symptoms dont worry. wait a bit and if u dont get it take a test in a few. i didnt get my period that month and was late the next month when i got married... good luck

Yes, they can all delay your period. Stress, weight loss/gain, change in exercise, etc can all change your body enough to change your cycle. A test taken 10 days after your missed period should be enough time to give you back a fairly accurate reading. I woulk wait a few days and take another test. Take it 1st thing in the morning when your hormone levels would be at their highest.

A lot of changes in your life can cause you to miss your period so its possible that it is just missing or you skipped it entirely. Also pregnancy tests can give you a false negative when you test too soon. Wait awhile and take another test.

stress can play a big part in change in the way your body functions, including causing your periods to be late without being pregnant, but since you just got married I think I would do a home pregnancy test to be on the safe side, just in case

When you have a late period, it means automatically that your pregnant. Pregnancy tests are not 100% sure so you need to go to the Health Department or to your doctor.

Most certainly! I had the same problem a year and a half ago.Too much stress, changes in lifestyle, and etc. could be a definite reason for a missed period.

yes actually... Stress could be a huge reason you're late.... I'm not just talking about mental stress... Physical stress can delay it... But to be on the safe side maybe you should make a ob/gyn appointment to make sure you're not pregnant and to make sure you're not having any problems...

STRESS can make you skip periods, and it sounds like you have enough of that to go around!
