Hi I recently found out that i am pregnant with my first child. I had an U/S done at by my calculations 4 weeks and 4 days. And all that was found was a gesational sac, normal shape implanted perfectly. I have had breast tenderness, fatigue, increased urination. On US i didn't have a yolk sac yet. Should i worry or was this way too early? On Blood work my first Hcg 20 DPO was 444 and 2 days later was 1369. Has anyone ever had a similar situation to find out everything is really fine? I have had no cramping no bleeding no backaches nothing indicative of a miscarriage and i am now a little over 5 weeks. Thanks for any help through this confusion.

You can't see heartbeat at 4 weeks. As for the others just being a day or 2 off can affect things this early. Your hcg looks fine. I won't call this blighted ovum yet, way too early. Good luck!

I had a blighted ovum...I had an ultrasound at 9 weeks, and all that was there was a sac...I had to have a d&c to remove it. With my second pregnancy I had a ultrasound at 5 weeks, and it was perfect I saw the sac and a heartbeat. You might want to have another ultrasound done

I had an blighted ovum pregancy too. It was my 3rd pregancy and I was devestated. I think you are to early to tell at this point. I had to be 7-8 weeks before they could diagnose me by ultrsound. But with my current pregnancy they did a vaginal ultrsound at 4.6 weeks and they did see the heartbeat.

I did however read that rising hormones may not matter in a blighted ovum, sorry

I have one week til my next ultrasound and the waiting is almost doing me in....no signs of miss carriage an now I have Morning sickness like crazy and FEEL pregnant...I think I am for sure...we'll see....GOOD LUCK SISTER....I'll pray for you *wink*

at 4 weeks its still alittle too early to see the sac... what the your OB say about it? just keep a open mind and dont stress...write down questions that you need to know and go to your doctor..
