We're in a serious relationship and we've talked about getting married within the next 2 years. I'm 24 and he's 26. The topic of children has come up a few times and he says that he can't see himself ever being a father. Growing up he had issues with his own father and I have a feeling that has something to do with him not wanting children. I, on the other hand, would really love to have children in the future. I guess my question is, Do most guys think like this when they're young? Is this something I should be worried about?

We live in Charles County Maryland. The boys are very fun, and energetic. They love just about everything that other toddlers their age love. They are very into teletubbies. I'm just completely out of ideas. I don't want to do Chuck E Cheese, or McDonalds. Please help!!!

My younger son came in and asked for a banny (band-aid). For as long as I can remember these type of words have evolved from my children. My oldest had a few but the word juke (juice) sticks out the most;even over boppy (blankie).The wife and I were puzzled until we asked him to show us what it was. But of all the words that have come about, the younger sons' word....nin....is still a puzzler. It's like a universal word for everything. He is coming out of it though and using it less and less. What I'm wondering is ....what words have your children "made up" that have confused you ?

I am 28 weeks pregnant and had a routine Ob appointment on Monday July 30 with a routine urine test. The nurse called today and said there was an infection in my urine called a Gram Positive Infection. Last week suffered from a slight head cold that left me feeling congested with no other serious symptoms.

I searched the internet for information on Gram positive infections but found very little that proided an answer in layman's terms. What is a Gram Positive Infection and what are the effects on a fetus at 28 weeks gestation?

When I questioned the nurse she just stated that it was a bacterial infection.

Is my uterus right up front now? Like right against the front of my belly, so when I feel something moving a little (18wks pregnant) is it the baby and not bowels or gas right there in front? It feels different then gas movements anyways. I'm not really showing much either so that makes it easier to feel maybe??!! 1st pregnancy by the way!!!!

I have two children and stepson.
I love my kids so much and would do anything for them. I also love my stepson, but I get so frustrated with him a lot. He is 5 and very whimpy! I mean, he wont stand up for himself when my son and him get into arguements. I always tell him that when my son says something to him to make him upset then to tell my son the things he says (like youre stupid) are not true. Instead he whines and acts like he is two. I get to the point where I punish my stepson for not sticking up for himself. I will put him in the chair and make him sit for a few minutes. I DO punish my son as well! Don't think I let me son get away with things, he has to sit in a chair as well!
I just feel like he wants me to baby him when he gets into arguements. I love him, but I can't say I have the complete "motherly love" for him. I want to be a better stepmom to him and love him as he is my own, so why can't I?

It's so expensive to buy baby food in jars individualy. Can you buy cases anywhere? I couldn't find anything online. I know I can make my own baby food so don't tell me that. But is there anywhere that does?
