I suppose it depends on the different types of women. But for deffinite, you will know when you have your first child. After the birth, God willing everything goes accordingly, it's a miraculous event. You are woman. You can procreate another human being in your body. Even though in this day and age, a woman in no longer needed to birth a child. BUT....only your body and soul can love a child and make it feel loved.

If after your first birth, you feel connected and joyful, you will automatically know if you want to put your body, strength and soul to the test. I have one daughter, she is 8 It was a 3 year travesty. I used alternative medicine to become pregnant. It took 2 years to conceive and after I did, 25 and a half hours to birth her. Even though it was a scary, joyous, miracle...I would be blessed if I could have more children. Unfortuantely we've not been blessed yet.

Keep your options open and after you've had your first or second child, you will know.

Trust your instinct.

When I started having all sorts of complications with my pregnancies. After four miscarriages, we finally had our son June 20th of this year (our miracle baby). I figure at 33 and finally having a "safe"delivery and healthy child, we're done before something really goes wrong!

I was 25 and had two sons. With a good for nothin' husband, I finally woke up and knew I was done, for I finally admitted to myself that he wasn't going to take care of them, I'd have to.
