it is only painful to some people and not to others. some people dont bleed much either. You don´t have to have sex or masturbate to break it accidently either. sports injuries sometimes break it...(I know from experience)

Its depends how it breaks. Alot of girls hymen's just wear away from sports and such and of course others don't break until they have sex. Most women find it rather uncomftorble and even painful. You may or may not bleed, each women is different.
