The marathon I am training for is at the end of October, but my husband and I would like to try to get pregnant starting in September. If we get pregnant in the first month, there is a chance that I will be running a marathon while 6 weeks pregnant. Is this stupid? Or does it even matter since the likelihood of getting pregnant on the first try is not that high? I don't want to give up on the marathon because I have been training for over a year. I would love a doctor's opinion on this.
I am 30 (almost 31) years old, in genarally good health, and have an extremely regular period. Do you have any advice for me?

Before i had my son 2 years ago, i never broke a sweat unless i was doing some serious running, but now just walking to the car can make me break a sweat, could the pill be causing this? If so, is there anything i can do to regulate my temp. I cant change to a different birth control unfortunately so any other options would be great, THANKS.

I'm stressed. My 9 year old sister and I, are staying with my dad in cali for the summer. My dad and uncle go to work all day. So I am stuck here with her all day at this house. I am active and I like to be doing something. But my sister is so lazy its not even funny. She just sits around watching t.v. or on the computer. I ask her everyday if she has eaten breakfast and lunch, and she always gives me a smart-*ss answer or yells "NO!" or "LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" I am trying to be the big sister and make sure she eats something. We live in La. So my mom is not here to help. And my dad cares, but all he does is buy her junk food. All she eats is Cheeze Puffs ALL DAY!!! And I try to get her to shower like she is supposed to, but she just ignores me. And she also tattles on me for everything I do. And I don't even do anything! I am fifteen years old. I absoloutely DO NOT want to be the parent. I AM NOT THE PARENT!!! I shouldn't have to be. Someone help me. I need to relax.

My daugther is 5 yrs, and she wants to go & spend a weekend with her dad she has being calling him every week since the first week of may, and he haven't call her back , she have left messages to him but he seems not to care.. I can't lie to her about a fake call because she has memorized his phone number..She wants for me to take her to her dad's house but I don't think it is Okay since he haven't call...I have try to call him too, so I can know what it is going on and that he need to give her an explanation..... I just try to take her places or play with her or do some fun activities so she can forget about going there for a while but it seems not to be working, I don't know what else to do .. I don't want for her to bed sad or to feel more bad than she is feeling right now .. What do ?? How can I explain to her something that I don't even know the answer!!! any advices

You see it in the news, on here with the way people respond to questions, in schools... our society is so angry... so much hatred and violence.

It seems people so quickly jump to conclusions without having all the facts, or ASSUME things that are incorrect, and then go off on underserving people they don't even know.

Is it safe to take the pill if you might be pregnant? I don't have a Dr. Appointment until the 15th of this month. I don't know if I am but I been on the pill and I am late this month for a cycle. I was wondering if it is okay to keep taking the pill because maybe my cycle is all messed up - I started late last month as well. Sooo is it going to be okay if I keep taking the pill - I assume the people that don't find out they are prego. for months that take the pill continue taking it because they did not know.

I just got a positive pregnancy test two days ago. I called my doctor and i got tomorrow for blood work but my first offical visit about the pregnancy isn't for another week and half. I am so scared. I did a pregnancy calendar to see how long i am from my last period and it estimates 8 weeks. I am getting prenatal viatamins tomorrow but today i started worrying about if my baby is okay, if it could have been a false positive, have i misscarriaged, and i am so scared. i want to be able to carry my baby all the way through this..... should i really be this worried. My breast were killing me up until 2 days ago.. they are still tender but not like they were well only really inthe mornings do they hurt bad. can this be a sign that somethings wrong with my tenderness decreasing. please someone help. this is my first pregnancy and i am so excited but worried about so much .

I'm in the throes of toilet teaching my 2 year old son. He has shown all the signs of readiness and knows when his diaper is wet or full, can take his pants down and his diaper off. He sits on the potty for short periods of time with no problem. I've been letting him run around with no diapers to make it easier to get on the potty in time. This morning, he sat down but kept getting up. Then he shouted the word we use for BM and got all worked up and cried. I encouraged him to sit on his potty but he looked scared. I saw his product coming so picked him up just in time for it to land safely in the potty. Then he said "uh-oh" when he saw it. Could he be afraid of actually using the potty? What can I do to help him overcome this fear?

Im at the end of my tether! I have a 2 yr old son and his weight is like a rolercoaster at the min. I make sure he has his 3 meals a day but he just doesnt seem intrested in the food and maybe has one mouthful! His weight keeps going up and down and the health visitior and myself am very concerned. Iv tried making it fun, and giving him the food he likes but he just doesnt want to know and im not sure if he is bored. He has set meals at the table with me and I have the same as what he has, I dont know what to do anymore as iv tried all I can think of, does anyone have any suggestions, and has anyone had this problem before?

I had my last period on June 21, I began cramping around the 19th of July but never started my period, my husband and I had unprotected sex on the 18th of July (but we didn't think anything of it after trying to concieve for 1 year and not having any luck). Anyway, I have taken 3 home tests and they all were neg. Yesturday I went pee and had bright red blood on my t.p. and it happened once today. Could that be implantation bleeding? I am not sure what's going on. How long now should I wait to take another test? I have occassional cramps but no real cramps like I normally have. Thanks for helping...slk
