if it really is rosacea, it can be aggrivated by the following:
consumption of alcohol, hot liquids, spicy foods.
exposure to sunlight, humidity, extremes of temp.,
using make-up and skin products that contain alcohol.

also: stress, vitamin deficiency and infection can aggravate it.

since you are PREGNANT, here are NATURAL SOLUTIONS:
eat lots of raw vegetables and grains
avoid fats, especially saturated fats and animal products.
saturated fats promote inflamation.
avoid caffeine, cheese, chocolate, cocoa, dairy, eggs, fat, salt, sugar, and spicy foods.

avoid wearing makeup.

this probably sounds hard but if it helps your rosacea, is it worth it?

chlorophyll and alfalfa are safe during pregnancy. both are blood cleansers, prevent infection and supply important balanced minerals.

there is no known cure for rosacea, but you can try some things and see which ones help you.

keep your skin clean and use gentle cleansers. wash with lukewarm water, not hot or cold. pat skin dry, do not rub, and don't touch it except when cleaning.

avoid long hot showers, saunas, hot tubs, etc...

apply PURE aloe vera gel to dry skin according to product label, and see what your natural food store has to offer.

It usually begins with redness on the cheeks, nose, chin or forehead and if left untreated can slowly worsen to include other symptoms. Rosacea can be controlled through medication, and it is important to see a dermatologist at the first suggestion of unusual redness. I

What can be done about Rosacea? Of course, consult a dermatologist. However, be aware that some prescribed medication can irritate skin already made sensitive by rosacea. Be especially aware of non-prescription medication used for acne. Some of the products have ingredients that will further irritate the skin. Products with emu oil and herbs have been reported to not only sooth the inflamed skin, but has actually helped the skin to become more healthy.

There is no cure. You might ask your doctor to recommend a dermatologist who can help. Also the make up Bare Minerals is wonder for roseacea, my daughter has it across her cheeks and nose and the light soft powdery bare minerals minimizes the redness to where it looks like a totally natural blush. You might try that. As for a cure again there is none. Try keeping the sun off of your face as much as possible that might help

You really need to read "Rosacea Free Forever" by Laura Taylor (also available in electronic format here: http://www.rosaceafreeforever.info ). It's about how to permanently cure your Rosacea naturally. I cured my Rosacea permanently in only 4 days after reading this.

Stop paying paying each month good money on creams. This is exactly what the pharmaceutical industry wants you to do! They want to milk money from you each month.
