I am a first time mother and I admit I dont have a clue what I am doing. I have a 9 day old baby and she has been really gassy lately. She hasnt had a bowel movement and I feel really bad for her. She was pretty cranky all night and all day today. What can I do for her? Also her skin is peeling all over her body is this normal?

i've been gaining weight and fat around my stomach, i just started getting breasts (beginning of 7th grade,i'm going into 8th grade now) is it becuase i'm starting to get my period and going through puberty and stuff? if i exercise more after my peroiod, will the fat go away?

I've been with the guy who is 46 years old Iam 37 years old for almost 8 years, No we are not married ,, Hes already been a parent 2 times with his ex wife so he knows what commitment is. I don't need him to raise the baby I just wanted the baby to have both parents thats all.. I just think its wrong for someone to leave at least the baby .. I'm ok with him not wanting me no more.. But I feel bad for the baby. But the person or persons on here that said it takes a man to be a daddy is right and maybe some day I'll find her a real man to be her daddy, if not I'll be both... Oh and to the ones that said use protection well I'm the type of person that can't use anything because I have tried lots of kinds, I'm allergic to everything!!!! and I also didn't force this baby on him he knew at the beginning of seeing me that I could get pregnant. I told him if he never wanted anymore kids to go get fixed, i didn't get fixed because this is what I told him I want another child.

As you have probably seen from my other posts that im slightly concerned i could be pregnant. Im probably not seeing as i take the pill and havent missed taking it. I have had a lot of symptoms though however and it seems that i now have a sore throat it feels as though i have swallowed a crisp and it has got stuck down my throat but i havent so it cant be that. im also very tired, feeling queesy, headache, sneezing, period like pains (its not due), one minute starving the next minute not hungry at all. What are your views? Its 9 days since i had unprotected sex.

I know that book has been around forever, but I know for myself (yes I have read it) there is a lot of wrong information and vague answers in it.
I know it has caused a lot of nervous mothers to panic and arrive at the hospital because they have indigestion.

Any one else have any thoughts on the matter?

Not looking for advice, I'm askin!

We found it easy, using advice from the Baby Whisperer, Tracy Hogg.

E - eat
A - activity
S - sleep (baby)
Y - you time!

We applied this from day one and had no problems but others I know still (9 months on) don't have their children in a routine.

How did you manage?

My friend just gave birth to a healthy, 9 pound, 3 ounce baby boy yesterday, uncomplicated, vaginally...at 39 weeks. She has had to see a perinatologist her whole pregnancy and had the liveing crap scared out of her about preeclampsia this that and the third, because she has chronic hypertension, but she had a normal healthy pregnancy and baby, they even got discharged early!!

Now, my perfectly healthy, normal BP having sis-in-law is 28 weeks pregnant, and has unfortunately developed the condition, preeclampsia. How is that? It seems so weird. I thought mothers with high BP already only had that, or were at risk for it rather?

he took a bottle on aoccasion when he was born but by four months i introduced jar food and ever since it's been either the boob or a jar of food. now he's cutting teeeth and i'm trying to ween him by substituding, i give him a bottle before bed instead of nursing, the only problem is he won't take the bottle. i've even tried giving it to him whiles he's really hungry but still he fights with me and refuses the bottle. is there an easier way to do this.

my daughter is 11
shes weighs about 88 lbs
she is going to be in 6th grade in august school year
she wears a size 12-14 slim in girls
she is small on the top but has medium thighs and a big butt
she likes to eat and snack alot sometimes
she looks good in a bikini
her boobs are growing but are small
she says she want s to go back down to a size 10 and 70lbs
shes gained about 10 lbs
SHE DOESNT NOT HAVE A PERID ...YET THE DOCTOR SAID ABOUT A YEAR
how can i delay her period and get her weight down so she will feel COMPETLY content

ok,they say that wearing a bra to sleep while they're still growing helps them to not sag.
is it true?

they also say that if u wear a bra to sleep it'll stump ur growth in that area.is that true?

My daughter's 1st birthday came and went without any teeth! But today I noticed a whiteish bump under her gums....it hasn't yet broken the surface, but it's sure to pretty soon. She was unusually cranky last night. She won't let me touch or look at the tooth, probably because it's tender. I have stuff for teething. But my question is have you personally known anyone else that didn't get their first tooth till after the 1st birthday?

If your child, like many, got theirs before the birthday, please don't reply....Im looking for people that didn't have teeth yet.
