infant development is all about learning the world around them. everything is knew to them and their natural curiosity is to test it out. humans learn speech by hearing and attempting to imitate. infants can't speak yet so they do the best they can to express themselves. look at babies of any species and you will see the same thing: playful, curious nature, speech development, testing boundaries. all these things help infants to develop into adults.

Infants are learning so much! your voice, shapes, colors and it takes a while for their eyes to see their surroundings like we do. So when they look around or start following movements they are probably amazed! They are probably always thinking" I am Hungry"
Sometimes I think that my son looks and us thinking "your my parents are you kidding me" lol When babies are cooing and making funny sweet noises They are hearing themselves and like what they hear so they keep doing it , in different tones. I think that honestly we may never truly know! But it is fun to watch!

I often like to think that when they are so new to this world that they still speak the language of angels and are talking to God.
