When my husband brings his kids home this summer (their first visit to our home since our marriage)...how do we make them see that our rules and consequences will differ from thier mom's without sitting them down to a big lecture?

i had my period on the 7th july and had sex on 15th. however i started having sore and larger breasts since the 23rd which is still continuing till today, 30th. afew months before, i was already suffering from indigestion and excessive burping. ever since i had sex, the indigestion has gotten worse. Also, ,when he was puttin the condom on he flipped it over cuz it was on the wrong side. do u think i might be pregnant? and also, when is the best time to take a pregnancy test?

ok so im like a week + overdue of a period this month and i normally keep track of them in my diary but last month i didnt fill my diary out for two weeks and i cant remember if i had one last month either.
i took a home test a few days ago and it said i wasnt but they still havent come and im really worried..
should i take another test?
or is because i'm stressing out possibly delayed them??
also i havent been sleeping well and am usually awake at night these days and am getting minimal sleep sometime two or three days without any sleep at all..??
could these thing be the cause i should i test again?

My husband and I will have his three kids (8, 12 and 15) for two weeks. His ex-wife is insisting that we send her a detailed itenerary for the time they will be here...she wants everything on a time schedule, restaurants, museums, parks, what we are having for dinner. I think it's silly....what should we tell her?

I have a daughter,age 6.She doesn't go to school.There were many times I have left her alone and everything was OK.But I know it's illegal,so some other parents and I decided to alternate with looking after the kids.They are 5,George(4),Dinna(2),Gareth(6),my daughter Linda(6) and Mathew(3).I was at home with them for 3 hours,while the other parents went for a walk.In these 3 hours Mathew fell of the bed and broke his arm.George sprained his ankle,Dinna and Linda hurt their noses.When the kids are alone at home,these things NEVER happen.Maybe I should leave them alone.What do you thing?

I have a 3 yr old, work 5 days a week, and also have a chronic illness. I have tried very hard to balance my life, but still find there simply is not enough time. Does anyone have some good ideas for great things I can do with my child, things I or we can do with others ( I miss having a social life and friends' kids are all much older), and/or just general ways to organize and balance life better??

my contacts keep getting stuck?could this be because i have dry eyes?i had to sleep with them in my eyes last night and cant get them out again this morning and my eye doctors office is closed. they are one a day any suggestions on how to get them out?they are stuck up by my eye lids wont come down and my eyes are getting really red PLEASE HELP!!!

I gave my son a scrambled egg this morning and he ended up throwing up all over. He has had small amounts of eggs before (just a couple of bites) and it has not made him sick. SInce he has thrown up he seems fine. Any thoughts? Was it the eggs or is he sick?

I'm a mother of 3 girls.I'm not married and their fathers don't help us any way.The oldest is 10(Adeline),the medium is 5(Jane) and the youngest is 6 months(Melanie).I work all day,so Adeline cares of the other while I'm at work.When Adeline is at school(just a few hours) Jane cares of Melanie.Till now there haven't been any problems.I want the kids to become self-confident and to believe in themselves,so they could manage to cope with real life.That's why I let them to take the decisions of their problems and leave them alone at home,to become responsible.If I didn't do it,how could they learn how to cope with life when they grow up and have their children?Anyway I want to ask you are there any other ways to make them more responsible(they are responsible enough,but I want them to have other chances to train their responsibility and confidence).Adeline cooks,cleans the house,cares of the baby and Jane...she knows lots of things and so she learns Jane to do them.Help me with more ideas

Sometimes when it's not my turn and the baby is crying really hard (he's teething) I HAVE too go see if I can comfort him but my honey gets a little testy cuz it's his turn nad he feels he should be able to comfort him. I know he can but it's just my instinct to try and make my baby feel better right? It's not me trying to be bitchy or pushy right? Just want some opinions on what I should do.
