I was told that birth control tricks your body into thinking that your pregnant so that you dont release an egg. is that true? also does it take a while for your body to get back to normal, as far as ovulating goes? Ive been on the pill for 7 yrs

Ok well about 3weeks ago i asked if i should worry that i was 8 days late on my period and you all told me to take a urine test and i did and it was negative....well i ended up skippin the WHOLE month for my period and lastnight again i took a urine test and it came up negative?? whats wrong with me?

my contacts got stuck last night and i tried to get them out again this morning and my eye doctors office is closed cant reach him. they are one a day any suggestions on how to get them out?they are stuck up by my eye lids wont come down and my eyes are getting really red PLEASE HELP!!! i have tried putting solution in for now since 9:00 this morning do i need to go to ER or hospital?

We used a condom it didn't break or slip off. He pulled out condom still on then ejaculated about 5 min after not even close to me.
I just want to know because I got my last period on the first of July and it still hasn't came i have been stressing about being pregnant since this is only my 2 time so how many of u think im just stressed out

I just read a few articles on ODD, if anyone has had personal experience with this disorder, I would love to know about it. I suspect 2 of my son's, but I'm not really happy with the medications that are suggested in treating it. Do I even approach their doctor with the possible diagnosis? Or do I go towards the therapy side of treatment. Any of you with PERSONAL experience please send me a few lines.

I am almost 37 weeks preg. am dialated to about 11/2 and have been for a lilltle wile any suggetions on how to get labor to go. Am getting some contractions off and on but not strong enough or long enough to put me in full labor. This is my second child. My son was due dec. 20th and came on the 11th.

i have irregular periods.i had my last one on 25th june. with 28 days cycle i expected on 23rd.but it was'nt, then i took a test on 26th.it was negative.my husband says to wait for one more week before going to the doctor for blood test.but i can't wait until then.i feel some back aches,sore boobs and feeling tired at the evenings.going to buy another home pregnancy test tommorrow.can any one say any other symtom of pregnancy.

My baby will be 11 months next week. We lost our health insurance in March so he has not been to the doctor since March. I am reading baby books. In the morning he has two tablespoons of rice ceral or oatmeal ceral with 6 ounces of formula. He has a number 3 jar of vegetable or meat in the afternoon and a number 3 jar of fruit in the evening. He has 4 ounces of juice and water during the day. He has a few mor 6 ounce formula bottles during the day. He drinks about 26 ounces a day of formula. At bed time he has another two tablespoons of rice ceral with a 6 ounce bottle. Does this sound okay.

My husband and I recently decided that it's time for us to have a baby. He's been married before and has two kids from that marriage ( 13 and 15). His 15 year old daughter went crazy at the mention of us having a baby and threw a massive fit. His ex-wife then called and told him that he and I shouldn't have a child because it's only upsetting his other kids. I'm so mad about this I can't even describe it. How should we deal with this situation?
