I did, and all of my kids are fine. I have never heard that. Eating turkey can, however, make you feel sleepy because it contains tryptophan.

Tryptophan is an essential Amino Acid. Tryptophan is a component of many plant and animal proteins, and a normal part of the diet that humans must get from outside sources. It is a precursor (starting material) from which our brains make serotonin, which is then used to calm you down and make you sleepy. Tryptophan also helps in niacin (B vitamins) production.

Foods that are considered sources of tryptophan are dairy products, beef, poultry, barley, brown rice, fish, soybeans, and peanuts.

Never have I heard that. Turkey is fine. I've done a LOT of reading about nutrition, health and pregnancy and I doubt turkey is harmful.

never heard of turkey being a bad thing to eat. i certainly don't eat raw fish, so there was no problem there. anything else, i didn't even worry about. just eat a balanced diet and youll be just fine. some people just take it way out of control. eat healthy, be active, and don't drink or smoke.

I've never heard of that before. I know they want you to stay away from processed meat such as lunch meat because of what's used in the process of making it ready to eat. Something like that. Most things are ok in moderation. I know with things like Tuna you shouldnt eat it more then once or twice a week...stuff like that. Ask your dr if youre really concerned

Never heard of it. Perhaps your thinking of "Chicken of the Sea". That's tuna fish and you shouldn't really eat that when your pregnant due to the mercury content.
