yep,,,, it is the ligaments stretching..it is actually a good sign that the baby is growing at a good speed...it is just painful and gets worse as the pregnancy progressed and after each additional child...

How far along are u? It all depends on how far along you are. When I was just first pregnant I had some implantation cramping and bleeding and then around 3-4 months I had cramping due to the baby starting to stretch things in there. Then about 7-8-9 months I hurt most of the time due to the stretching of the muscles and ligaments that are necessary for the baby to come out. Good luck!

If it is below your belly, it could be the ligaments stretching to accommodate the growing fetus and the added weight. Have you had an ultrasound yet? With my last child, I had pains and it turned out the placenta was low in the uterus. If the pain persists, contact your Ob-Gyn to make sure everything is okay.

Tracey L is right...it's probably just your ligaments stretching and eventually your abdominal muscles will separate from your abdominal wall...if you're really concerned, put in a call to your practioner and he/she should be able to tell you for sure...make to describe the cramps in full detail and not just as cramps...he/she may have you come in for a checkup...shouldn't you have a check up next week, anyways?

depends on how far along you are, how bad and where the pain is located...could be from something as simple as your muscles and ligaments stretching to support your growing belly or the start of labor.........talk with you doc and check out the site below, good luck!

Not sure what kind of pain you are experiencing but you should go see a doctor to be safe.
