No. It is like sugar. Just not too much.

I'm not sure about while your pregnant but I know the baby can't have honey for the first year. Best thung to do would be to ask your Dr. I'm pretty sure I ate honey when I was pregnant cuz we love honey in this house but you might want to check. I eat an pb and honey sandwich at least every other day and have for years and my baby is only 7 months old that's how I know I ate it when pregnant. But again safest to check with Dr cuz I just may have been lucky you know.....

No. That is an old wives tail. The concern was that the honey may contain bacteria (Clostridium botulinum) that may kill or deform the fetus.
However, it should NOT be fed to children under 1 years of age. See the link below for more details (from Web MD).

it's safe. the reason you have heard this is because honey can contain botulism spores, which can cause botulism. however, the digestive tract is highly acidic and kills all the spores. however, do not give it to a baby. but pregnant women can eat all they want. if you are really worried about it, they make "fake" sugar free honey that tastes pretty much like the real thing.

In moderate amounts, no. But DO NOT give an infant any honey it can cause food poisoning...(salmonella).
p.s. Why? Because honey cannot be pasturized.

Do you want BOTULISM? I don't! Check out some websites with pictures of BOTULISM and you will see why. I think it's probably the worst way to die. Ever. Maybe Smallpox would be worse. But its close.
