I know not all conservatives can be as erudite as say, William F. Buckley, but why does George W. Bush always come off sounding so unsophisticated? He rarely speaks in anything beyond vague generalities and when asked a difficult question he falls back on empty rhetoric to cover for his lack of specifics.

But beyond that, he seems to have a great deal of difficulty with basic English grammar.

Yes, yes, we all know the Democratic party is also full of empty-rhetoric spewing, status-quo supporting politicians.

But I want to know what your opinion is regarding Bush's apparent speech problem.

Some people have suggested it is typical of individuals with a history of alcohol and/or drug abuse. Others (including myself) have posited that the man is simply incurious.

What do you think (not feel, but THINK)?

If you divide the US into three classes by income, upper, middle, lower, and you draw the lines so as to divide the population into thirds, the middle group's income has been increasing steadily for the last quarter century.

If you divide the US into three classes by income and set the bars as a function of income levels (e.g., some economists use 2X and 5X the poverty level as the boundaries of the 'middle class' but the below is true regardless of where you draw the lines):

The upper class is growing in proportion to the whole

The middle class is shrinking in proportion to the whole

The lower class is about the same size relative to the whole

Given that most immigration is from poor countries and we've had an explosion of immigration in the last quarter century, that means:

The once rich are still rich

Many in the middle class have moved up

The lower class is moving up too but being replaced at the bottom by new immigrants

Why is that bad????

I asked this question a week ago, and Yahoo shut it down. I got an answer from a German woman who said that George W. Bush was a pawn of the Neo-Nazis. She said that he was unimportant, except for the fact that these Germans were trying to destroy the US by running us into bankruptcy and that we would destroy the Middle East and Israel in the process.

The war on terror is just a bumper sticker. Think of these as practical jokes. We just kidding! HA HA. Mr. Edwards has very nice hair but must grow beard when he lets us in.

Look at funny Bumper Sticker Attacks

-- The 1993 World Trade Center bombing that killed 6 and injured 1,000
-- The 1993 Mogadishu firefight that killed 18 U.S. soldiers
-- The 1995 Saudi Arabia car bomb that killed 5 U.S. military personnel
-- The 1996 Khobal Towers bombing that killed 19 U.S. soldiers, wounding 515
-- The 1998 bombings of two U.S. embassies in Africa that killed 231 citizens, 12 Americans and injured 5,000
-- The 2000 USS Cole attack in Yemen that killed 17 U.S. sailors, wounding 39
-- 9/11 3000 dead - so funny, a real knee slapper!

P.S. Liberal Smpathyzers - Please do not use the phone. Bush's wire taps are working and they have located some of our cells in the USA. Our cell in Eugene, OREGON was raided. Bad Liberals. Bad Liberals!

Instead of Insults, digressing, writing nonsense and general sophistry......

CONS its about time you had a coherent argument to defend your indefensible positions.

You have been wrong for 7 years and like a 'chickenhawk' it is all coming home to roost.

Over 3600 young American kids have DIED since Bush started his war in Iraq-a war we now know was based on lies by the Bush administration.

TENS of THOUSANDS more have been MAIMED in Bush's war.

The American people voted out the rubberstamp congress that kept supporting Bush's war, but Bush will not listen to the American people.

Many Republican Senators and Congressmen want an end to Bush's war, but he won't listen to them either.

Now, even the Puppet Prime Minister of Iraq that was hand picked by Bush's puppet government wants the US out so that his country can have peace without US occupation.

Should Bush continue to send American kids off to die as Human Shields for Halliburton or should he start to listen to America, Iraq and the rest of the world and bring them home?

Okay, I'm seeing one of the worst Liberal Spins I've seen in some time on Y!A tonight. So, to combat this, I make this challenge.

Show me where the Iraqi PM has TOLD US TO LEAVE and I will leave this forum and never come back.

Here are the stipulations.
1. The source must be a scholarly and credible source. No Blogs or Myspace or Wikipedia allowed. (I suppose for the sake of being fair MSNBC, ABC and CNN can be used)

2. It must clearly show that the CURRENT Iraqi PM has said without a doubt "Get out of Iraq Now" (or something of the like).

Can you prove this?

I wait patiently.

Okay, let's put in some new choices this time:
Remember, the primary is over and these are the winners. We're having the general election.

Barack Obama (D)
Fred Thompson (R)
Ron Paul (Independent)

Once again, I've added Ron Paul because I believe he'll end up running as an Independent.

Who will you vote for?

Okay, the primary election is over and the results are in. In all fairness, my choice for a Presidential candidate didn't make it either.

Here are the choices:
Rudy Giuliani (R)
Hillary Clinton (D)
Ron Paul (runs as an Independent)

Who would you vote for today?

Iraq PM: Country can manage without U.S.

Associated Press ; July 14, 2007

BAGHDAD - Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki shrugged off U.S. doubts of his government's military and political progress on Saturday, saying Iraqi forces are capable and American troops can leave "any time they want."One of his top aides, meanwhile, accused the United States of embarrassing the Iraqi government by violating human rights and treating his country like an "experiment in a U.S. lab." During a press conference, al-Maliki shrugged off the progress report, saying that difficulty in enacting the reforms was "natural" given Iraq's turmoil. We say in full confidence that we are able, God willing, to take the responsibility completely in running the security file if the international forces withdraw at any time they want," he said.

Americans WANT !!

As Iraqis now assert their authority and accuse the US of being 'cold blooded' killers, why are we still there?

Isn't it now obvious to the most stupid that 3700 American lives have been lost because of a few people's greed for OIL.

Bush keeps talking like the insurgency is Alquaeda.

But yet he also says iran is weaponizing the insurgency...which is an impossibility as Iran is enemy of Alquaeda and sunnis are enemies of shia....

so who are we fighting???

Looks like the time is near when the Iraqi gvt will tell Bush to remove his occupation forces.

Lord, please let that happen.....I promise to be very good and do extra good deeds if you only could let me see that day happen ..say in the next 3 months.... PLEASE LET THE IRAQI GVT TELL THE USA THEY CAN LEAVE.

and I wonder what the new spin from the Bush cabal will be then....and of course the Bush sheep.
