mine used to be the no-spin-zone w/ Bill O'Reilley, but lately i'd have to say Michael Savage. because he's 100% straight-forward in his opinions. he's (in no small way) responsible for getting the am. ppl to stop that nightmare Dubai Ports deal, and w/other hosts stopping that travesty-amnesty bill from going forward. not only his views of politics, but he has a real genuinely kind side in his affinity for animals and nature. just MHO. so.. who do you like?

Please conservatives don't bash liberals in this question.

I may not agree with you but I would genuinely like to hear some of the other side.

There seems to be an all-out push for this nonsense lately. Michael Moore's latest propaganda is focused entirely on this objective. This Universal Healthcare push is festering like a swollen boil in politics today, and it is threatening to burst and ooze a fetid puss all over the 2008 presidential election.

It is not very difficult to envision a US government-administered system of socialist medicine: health care with the efficiency of the Postal Service and the compassion of the IRS? No thanks!

Didn't they learn their lesson the first time Hillary tried that rubbish in 1993? She got smacked down, hard. Socialist healthcare is not something that the American people are prepared to tolerate; do you hear us, leftwingers? Not on OUR watch!

The shame of it all is that: trial lawyers like John Edwards and his ilk are responsible for most of the problems plaguing our current health system. Any common-sense attempts at tort-reform is met with furious resistance by the Left.

and when you consider the huge mess the new prez will inherit, including the wars, record trade deficits, record budget deficits, immigration crisis, record high gas prices, lack of sound energy policy, health care crisis, social security crisis, medicare crisis....etc......

Is it possible that this is what Rove has whispered into Bush's ear...not to worry...lets milk it for as much as we can...and when we leave it looks like dems will win the white house...so lets leave them a huge mess that the GOP can criticize them over and over and over about for the 4 years of their presidency ....that way we can defeat them and get another GOper in the white house after that????

It's pretty obvious that we have a wide gap between the Republican and Democrat parties on many issues.

With Congress and the White House having the potential of vastly different political ideologies every 2-4 or 6 years how can the people always be supportive?

I am actually surprised anything gets accomplished!

Democratic control of congress has never missed an to impeach a rep. president, they can not be that stupid, if there was ine shred of evidence or a possiabilty of falsafying some, he would of been long gone, and his little Chenny too...no justifiable excuse can explain this kind of hate.
It is not necessary to hate Bush to think he's a bad president. Grown-ups can do that, you know -- decide someone's policies are a miserable failure without lying awake at night consumed with hatred. Poor Bush is in way over his head, and the country is in bad shape!

Also, How can people say the support the military and support this nonsense?

There was a time in this country when we valued debate.
In fact that's what 'think tanks' were created for.
Educated Intelluctuals who brought many ideas to any given topic.

Sadly it seems now that if your opinion varies from the President's or the Republicans you are labeled "Unpatriotic" and "Anti-American.

Isn't challenging our leaders decisions when they conflict with the constitution and decency in fact extreme Patriotism?

How is any political discourse stateside affecting the daily operations in Iraq?
That's what Generals and military leaders are for!
Soldiers follow orders.

He sends 10 billion dollars a MONTH to sponsor the war in Iraq when homeless American citizens are dying from hunger. When people all over the world are dying from hunger and natural diseases that require money to be cured. When people are dying because they can not afford to call the doctor. And despite all this, the president sends money for the purpose of hatred, destruction. What do you have to say?
