I'm watching C-Span 2 right now and Kerry is speaking. Is anyone there still awake?

as an Englishman who is currently in the USA on business i feel i must ask this.
As most people are aware in the USA alcohol is prohibited, iam wondering if any Americans know of a place i could get tanked up.
I have tried many of the pubs & bars, but all they sell is American lager(shandy) which contains trace alcohol.
Ideally i would like to get Blotto on Strongbow.
Any ideas?

Are they hoping to break their international record of 55 million killed world wide during WWII because they wouldn't face Hitler (until Germany declared war on the US)?

No one has come out and said they intercepted any messages or have any shred of tangible evidence, just "gut feelings" and such.

What is going on?

The people of New Orleans did go to shelters, but they were badly damaged during the Katrina, then once the shelters released them after the hurricane, it was hell. They needed help down there, and it took Bush a week while people were dying and getting raped. Not everyone can afford to leave the city. It would seem to me that americans would care more about their own people here in the country than people 2,000 miles away. There were even people in hospitals and special homes that couldnt leave New Orleans, ...stop calling them ignorant because they couldnt take a trip to Atlanta or whatever during Katrina.

I'm pro american ...and I believe the american people come first and new orleans is a part of america
If you're pro american then you'd feel sorry for the victims and families of new orleans instead of calling them stupid just because it made Bush look bad for taking a week to send help.

I am sure that they areso happy that we FREED them! We have a soldier on every street corner watching them and telling them when to go to bed, and questioning them constantly. I am sure that Bush will get a thank you card from them, right?

I mean, this man freed them. Iraq is such a great country to be in now since it is a free, democratic society in which people can live happily without fearing for their lives. Bush should definitely visit Iraq on vacation, he will be treated as royalty, don't you think?

I've been worried lately of another terror attack on U.S. soil. I wish I was a neo-con. If I were, I would be so brave and patriotic and therefore not worry of an attack at all. But sadly, I am a sane, logical thinker.

"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."

The comma in question is to separate militia from personal right to bear arms, correct?

Well going with these ideals, the militia part would still be intact, no? And with a militia, who provides the fire arms? Isn't a militia a SELF-ARMED organization of people for defense and/or emergency para-military service?

Anyone see the problem?

The real conspiracy is what the government wants you to believe. THINK ABOUT IT... What does the government have to hide if they won't release videotapes recording looking directly toward the pentagon and where it got "hit by a plane"?

Why did we recover a hi-jackers PAPER PASSPORT from wreckage and NOT the nearly indestructible plane recorders?

WHY were there no bodies found where flight 93 supposedly crashed?

The only people smoking the green stuff are the people that are living in denial and want to sit in their safe little box of ignorance. The people that actually care are the ones that are not gonna stop asking questions.

And for the record, I don't smoke anything.

WASHINGTON (AP) - Al-Qaida is using its growing strength in Pakistan and Iraq to plot attacks on U.S. soil, heightening the terror threat facing the United States over the next few years, intelligence agencies concluded in a report unveiled Tuesday.

At the same time, the intelligence analysts worry that international cooperation against terrorism will be hard to sustain as memories of Sept. 11 fade and nations' views diverge on what the real threat is.

I had a friend who lived with terminal cancer for 2 years.

The last 4 months of her life she wouldn't have eaten anything without marijuana.

As it helped to curb her nausea so she could hold food down.

Can we agree on this aspect of legalizing marijuana use for medical purposes?
