The same week we learn the "Iraqi government" isn't hitting its "benchmarks". Reminds me of Tom Ridge and his orange alerts.

Here's a thought: get out and let the Iraqis defeat al Qaeda.

If we did that, we wouldn't mess up the reserve. Thus, we would get oil, and nature would be protected. Right?

Not "your truth", or "my truth", but "THE truth".

Like:
THE truth is that there are no WMD in Iraq and haven't been since 1991.
THE truth is Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11.
THE truth is the UN never authorized any no-fly zones.
THE truth is the UN never authorized Bush's invasion.
THE truth is the Iraqi people never asked us to invade and majorities have wanted us to leave in every poll ever taken.

You know, the truth?

I have grown to distrust either party since the reign of Ronald Reagan as President. Both parties have been infiltrated by corporations, and the Democrat Party was infiltrated by communists and then socialists, while the Republican Party was infiltrated by religious whackos. I probably distrust the Democrats more, however. They are all socialist minded and if we let them control the country, we will turn into another evil socialist country like the joke France now is, ever since socialism took over there. They lack strength in the category of national security and none of the Democrats running in 2008 were war heroes or veterans. Most war heroes and veterans are registered Republicans, and this has been proven. So, if I had to choose the lesser of 2 evils, I pick the Republican side, because they are the tougher and more pro-American party, unlike the Democrat Party, which wants to sell America out to socialism.

'Well, "communications consulting" is how presidential candidate Mitt Romney recorded $300 in payments to a California company that describes itself as "a mobile beauty team for hair, makeup and men's grooming and spa services."

Romney spokesman Kevin Madden confirmed that the payments -- actually two separate $150 charges -- were for makeup, though he said the former Massachusetts governor had only one session with Hidden Beauty of West Hills, Calif. That was before the May 3 Republican presidential debate at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, Calif., co-sponsored by MSNBC and The Politico.'

Bush declared war on terrorism. Presidents and politicians (and others in high offices) are blamed for negligence.

Billions of dollars spent on Homeland Security.

We went into Iraq to take care of the "threat"

At the airport, shoes have to be removed, shampoo bottles and deodorant are confiscated, yet....

More Republicans have defected to the withdraw-from-Iraq Democrats. They have read the polls that show falling support among the American people for the war in Iraq, and have concluded that continuing to support the war will cost them their Senate or House seat.

Conservative strongly opposed JFK and used the most strident and ludicrous language to instill fear of his leadership. Military leaders in the Pentagon were openly subordinate in languge, and narrowly almost, in deeds, when JFK was President. Military leaders at the Pentagon even suggested to JFK that a nuclear war with Russia was a wise course of action. Why can't some people see how limited their thinking reallt is!
