Not "your truth", or "my truth", but "THE truth".
Like:
THE truth is that there are no WMD in Iraq and haven't been since 1991.
THE truth is Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11.
THE truth is the UN never authorized any no-fly zones.
THE truth is the UN never authorized Bush's invasion.
THE truth is the Iraqi people never asked us to invade and majorities have wanted us to leave in every poll ever taken.
You know, the truth?

Please, war supporters, do try to tackle the question rather than just rant.

I bet you even believe GW blew up the WTC. It amazes me people like you have the brain-power to inhale oxygen. Surely you are the result of too many years of playing video games.

Because "the Truth" is still relative.
They have found chemical weapons from the first Persian Gulf War, which Saddam claimed he had destroyed.
We have been fighting Al Queda in Iraq. Al Queda was responsible for 9/11. Whether you like it or not, there is a connection.
The UN did not authorize the invasion. So what? The UN refuses to recognize the genocide in the Sudan. The UN looks out for its own interests not for what is best for the world.
The truth is that accurate polls cannot be take in Iraq. The only way to take polls is to go door to door. In every poll take in Iraq over 60% of the people questioned refuse to anwer because they are afraid of the Insurgents.

We live in a culture in which it is the accepted and common practice to deny fact, truth, and logic and instead insert what we BELIEVE as the truth. Never mind that our beliefs are generally no more than a collection of A: What he hope to be true, and B: what we fear might be true.
I love it when my European friends watch American news and say, "wait, wait, wait, you mean to tell me that you get to choose whether you believe global warming exists or not? That is a matter of fact! You don't get to have "beliefs" on that!"
I can't believe people in this thread are arguing that because we are fighting Al-Qaida in Iraq right now that that means that Iraq was involved in 9/11. Al-Qaida did not exist in Iraq until 2004, well after the invasion and the 2001 WTC attacks. In fact, Saddam personally hated Bin-Laden and actively cleared the country of all Muslim extremists. He was a FASCIST dictator, he hated religion!

What is it with liberals anymore saying, "This is the way it IS! End of discussion!" What??!!
I'll stay on topic. "The truth" is NOT a difficult concept for some war supporters. So, there is the answer to your question.

Well from what I know, there were never any WMD found.
Bush knew that Saddam was never a threat.
Al Queda is the strongest it has been since 911.
No matter what Bush says, the people of Iraq do not want us there. Its like we dont even care that there are innocent people in Iraq getting killed everyday. Are we safer now than before the war? I dont feel so. Do U?

The TRUTH is that every ally country and their intelligence groups reported to Bush following the 9/11 attacks that Saddam was poised to attack the USA because he viewed us as a "wounded dog". If Bush did not heed the warnings he would be an idiot, he choose to defend our interests and he is an idiot. The poor guy will never catch a break will he? Please, support the USA and her troops. It is because of them that you have the ability to ask these questions freely and without repercussions.

Because they've been blinded by the political propaganda fed to us about "the global war on terror", & "keeping our country safe for the American people" and "orange alerts" & "terror alerts" and "homeland security" ect ect ect..... all political BS meant to rally up the "troops" here at home and keep feeding the $$$$$$$ into this historical, catastrophic disaster which has gone from "WMD" to "Operation Iraqi Freedom" to just plain "War"................Read, I mean READ about just how much safer we actually are before attacking for telling the truth.

WHAT WERE THEY VOTING FOR REGARDING THE 17 RESOLUTIONS THAT IRAQ HAD BROKEN???? SADDAM WAS WARNED REPEATLY ABOUT COMPLYING WITH THEM AND REFUSED REPEATLY...
THERE WAS ELECTION IN IRAQ THAT HAD A RECORD NUMBER COMING OUT TO VOTE FOR THEIR FREEDOM.
